Sickening. Three games in a row, Pards.
Nice.
-
If he starts, he'll probably get taken off after 60 minutes in the kind of sub that should have happened in the last two games.
Needs a proper run out tonight. Hope he gets 90 minutes or as close as he can manage.

Justice for the racist.
Minute's silence and white armbands all round.

Seeing what sparked it:
Finisher is #myfaveword for 2011. What's yours?@themichaelowen thought yours would be #injured or #bench :-)Touchy, touchy.
Oh, and his choice of word...

Good. He deserves a lengthy ban for his attitude on a pitch, let alone for stuff like this.
Obviously hope he misses our game, but I'm guessing Victimsoftheworld FC won't just be humble and accept it, so in the mean time let's just hope they and Dalglish embarrass themselves a little more.

Well that second half was quite lovely.
My word, young man.

Chamakh is such a diving, overreacting prat.

"Oooohh" in unison from Tyler and Neville

That Umbro Geometra ad is a pain. Shouldn't really have such flickering and flashing nuisance during the game. Wonder if it bothers the players at all.
-
What a horrific pass. Put it exactly where no one could get it.
-
"Aguero did play the ball forward". That doesn't matter.
Edit: And very conclusive replay just then.
-
What an important win that could prove to be. Rubbish first half but played well 2nd half.
Aye, important to get straight back to winning. No matter how.
Bit like what we should have done yesterday

Looked dodgy as fuck at first that from Kolo. Good tackle though.
-
Well thank fuck for that. Nice one, Pav.

2) So far Ben Arfa hasn't shown enough to be cast-iron starter at the moment.
He's done enough to warrant a decent run in the side. And most importantly: it's not like the alternatives (especially on the wings) are doing enough to warrant keeping him out.
It's not necessarily pandering to him either, we want what is best for the team. We have seemingly undroppable players out there not doing a job.
Again, he's not even being given a chance to fail.
-
It would be tragic if he left in the very near future.
Of course he's no Pele (he wouldn't be at NUFC if he was) and he's not guaranteed to unlock any game or situation. But, he's clearly a high class talent. The kind of which we haven't seen at the club in years and would struggle to attract.
If his only meaningful contribution to the team remained that goal at Everton it would be very sad.
He's not even being given a chance to fail.

First-half was as good I've seen from us since we got promoted again, but we got stale around the 60-65 minute mark, Swansea began to look comfortable...that's when HBA should have been introduced.
If we still couldn't get through then fair enough, but we would have at least tried to change things.
Yeap, seemed like such the obvious choice watching the game. All the more frustrating given that he did the same last week as well.

What maddy said
Bringing HBA on for a CM would have been a real sign of intention.
Would have been in line with his alleged obsession with only playing him in the middle, or as a number 10.
-
Ben Arfa should have been on much sooner than when Tioté broke down. Could have come on for either Obertan or Jonas (today for the latter especially who was producing nothing).
Once Tioté was to come off then push Benny in the middle.

One of the big things against Zidane is that he never had the consistency at club level that the Barca three have shown.

He's failed two tests in a row already.
