  1. I love watching Barca play but it's got to be said that the likes of Mascherano and Busquets are fucking disgraceful for throwing themselves to the ground. It's cheating.

Yeah, but some guy in League 1 dived last season. So those Barca players are fully justified to do it every day.

  2. Madrid and Barca are for worse than anything you'd come across in the Prem tbh.

Gerrard - Diver, Cheat, National Disgrace

    Search that in youtube.

Give it a rest you utter blinkered fool. What part of "far worse" don't you understand?

  3. I wonder what game Pissi is watching when it comes to these ties.

Too busy slamming his cock in his Barcelona pencil case to understand what's going on.

Actually may have to hope for a Man U win in the final. Horrible feeling.

You're not a Newcastle fan then.

    Pathetic.

  4. Eh, how the fuck was Mascherano diving then, he clearly kicked the sole of Lass' boot.  It wasn't a foul or a dive, if any of yous have played football you'll know how sore that is.

    Fucking hell

Keep trying to justify such attitudes.

  5. He's never, ever leaving people. Anybody that still has even an ounce of hope that he will, needs to forget it and get real.

He'll always manage to wriggle a new contract out of someone, will always turn down any outside interest. He's the anti-Carroll in that respect, can't get rid of him even when the club wanted to.

  6. And it has to be said you spout as much shit. If it was at the other end, you'd have been on this forum defending the linesman all the way. Your bias means you can't see it though.

He nodded his head straight afterwards to indicate that it crossed the line - he didn't 'take his time' at all. Just because he wasn't waving his flag around like a lunatic didn't mean that he wasn't sure.

And the rules don't state "the linesman has to be 100% sure" - he has to make a decision and with everything presented to him, he made that decision. And 99/100 linesmen would make the same decision IMO. I'd certainly have given the goal.

It's a real shame he isn't robo-cop and couldn't tell that an inch of the ball was still of the line, but hey that's life.

    Yeap, spot on Jonny.

At full speed and first viewing I would have given it too. As Redknapp said, it was an honest decision, one the lino felt was the correct one. It was just wrong.

  7. just for dives or for every possible foul ?

What part is that referring to?

Video reviews should be in place for any type of incident whatsoever. Dives, play acting, rolling around on the floor too long, violence etc...

In specifically a situation where a ref is being conned but isn't sure whether it's a dive, or foul and either takes no action or makes a wrong decision, I feel it would be counter productive to sanction the ref.

Obviously if a ref is constantly making mistakes and bad calls, that's a different issue.

    Edit:

And fuck all that silliness about "if a ref has seen an incident but dealt with it in a wrong way, we can't change it"... Refs should be applauded for getting things right, but can't see everything. If they know the right sanctions will be made in time it would take some pressure off them.

Any sanction taken on the pitch should be able to be increased or decreased upon review according to what is fair.

  8. One of the big plus points also with having video review bans, is that it would take pressure off refs. Starting to give refs sanctions for missing something would be extremely counter productive.

Just such a win-win-win situation for all involved... retarded a solid, clear system hasn't already been in place for years.

  9. ^ That's what UEFA are hiding behind for sure. How about they start with the obvious ones and go from there?

Seriously, it isn't hard. So many players should be charged with bringing the game into disrepute.

I don't understand why FIFA/UEFA (just like goal line technology) can't see that it's in their best interest long term to clamp down, because it's killing the game as a spectacle and killing the game's credibility.

The biggest problem though is no one is willing to look at themselves, every one passes the buck by saying "ohh but they do this, and those guys do that". Last night was an utter joke and we're going to see it again and again.

  10. What a colossal set of complete c***s involved in that game. Absolutely no dignity, just cheat, dive and use underhand tactics throughout at every opportunity. Will be fully behind Man Utd regardless of who goes through in this one.

    Nani?

    Rooney?

Yes, now Barca will be totally justified in diving about in the final.

  11. Personally I enjoy watching teams that are capable of mixing things up. Short passing, crosses, long balls... When Barca aren't getting things their way they seem to just start passing for the sake of passing.

I've always respected ManU's (well Ferguson's) approach in that respect.

  12. Nope, already said both teams were as bad eas each other.

Just some people are too blinkered in their anti-barcelona to pick up on this.

It doesn't mean they are pro-Madrid. Just pointing out what the others did isn't a justifiable comeback. As you said both teams were petty and ridiculous and they are getting called out for it.
