I wouldn't be too worried about the cards especially because the yellows picked up on Saturday have doubled our Premier League tally and they were almost all absolutely grotesque.
-
The guy didn't have the committment necessary to maintain his body as he needed to. Too bad.
Well that's just harsh on Rooney.
The guy has clearly worked hard on that aspect. Probably another reason why, as others have said, nature might be catching up.

even with the obvious disadvantage of being down to 10 men you should offer more.
I do agree with this. We lacked some very basic quality at times. First touches, passing, short or long. We were always going to be under pressure but did ourselves very few favours. Wijnaldum and Thauvin were the only two who were consistently good on the ball. I would rather we have pushed the group a little higher up and lost 2-0 but at least tried something to get some chances.

Shelvey booked after double incompetence by the linesman. Insanity.

What the fuck is wrong with football, jesus christ.
It's been an ongoing trend since the start of the season actually I've noticed. Levels of softness shooting up.
Fouls given for nothing. Fouls for playing the ball. Yellow cards for playing the ball... Today just went overboard with how we were involved.
-
BTW I thought the red card helped us, we were much tighter with 10 men.
I can respect someone thinking it was a red, but that's just crazy.
Arsenal were all over us for the 1st 12 mins.
I see what you mean as in what was the instant reaction, but there's no way going down to ten men for 80 minutes helped us.

The level of inconsistency was surreal.
-
What I mean is that at times he got the ball then ran around with it not taking opportunities to make a decent pass, hesitated until he ran himself either into trouble or into passing back to Colo.
-
At one point the kid sitting in front of me looked at his dad and said "Colback is great isn't he" - Even though I thought he did well today, that's just not right.
-
The early kick off didn't seem to work well for Sissoko. Thought he was poor. Very lethargic and just seemed off the boil. Poor first touches, poor passing. Very little quality on the ball .
-
Certainly. Coquelin was just the more grotesque one today.
-
Coquelin, what a sad little man. All game he was at it.
That free kick they got late in the game on the edge of our box.... His fall to the ground had three different stages to it. Seemed to get himself horizontal then hurle himself a few yards forward.
-
I hate him but I thought he was alright today.
This for me. Slow in releasing the ball when he had it, but overall he did well today.
There's no need for him and Anita to both be on the pitch though.
-
Even the Cazorla yellow was a disgrace. He wasn't going to give it, but it was Colo who talked him into it
That shouldn't be happening.
Anyway, Marriner couldn't just tip the scales like that so he made up a yellow for Wijnaldum.
-
I thought the yellows he dished to everyone for everything were even more infuriating.
Once Arsenal were ahead in the last 20 minutes there were incidents of their players dragging ours down... But of course who cares now, no yellows given.
-
Haidara did well when it came to interceptions, getting back in front of his attacker and defending, but his lack of quality in every thing else was worrying.
Poor decision making, and his passing and distribution was just flat out horrendous.
-
This and the Liverpool v Bournemouth couple weeks ago are shocking one sided shaft jobs from Premier League referees. Dangerous precedent here.

It's one thing when they say "United" during a Man Utd vs Chelsea match, but the shitehawk commentating on our game last weekend spent the entire f***ing game saying it. Wanted him stabbed.
Glenn Hoddle was LITERALLY saying it a few times in every sentence. I don't even know why he was there, like a 3rd testicle.
All about context. There's absolutely nothing wrong with saying just "United" or "City" in the right context. Like if Man City were playing Real Madrid.
But there is also absolutely everything wrong with saying just "United" in the way Hoddle was doing it all through our game last weekend. Very disrespectful.
No middle ground here, just extremes.

Going to this. First game in nearly a year. And looking forward to it.
So probably 0-3
-
If it spurs him on like that, get her a season ticket there.

Could figure out who "the G word" was until Yorkie named him.
That was nice for a while.

Going out to kick and roughen up Arsenal is what we did in 2005 in that 1-0 win
Saturday was fucking nothing man. If that is what is now considered just looking to kick another team, then football needs help. We know that already though.
