I'm not sure Rocker hates Pardew, I can only remember him sticking up for him. Nah - it was JH claiming that Pardew threw on Cisse with little or no tactical consideration. That makes no sense in light of Pardew's stated intention to put him on at the 60 minute mark.
-
Eh? He was the only choice. WTF are you on about. Pardew stated that he had intended to swap Best for Cisse at the 60 minute mark but he was forced to go early because of the injury. There was no "chuck him on and see what happens". If you hate Pardew, that's fine, but don't make up senseless shite to try and support your position...

Cannot help but be pleased for him. He set the team up well and seemingly got what he asked from his players. In particular, Perch seemed to play to specific instructions that were acheivable for him. He seemed confident and willing. Guthrie as well played a defined role and it worked well. I put this, in large part, down to the manager who has given these two an opportunity to shine today.

He was a young and rebel die hard. He said he has changed (But that's was not the subject. Dem BABA said his last two clubs relinquished his services. It's not true.) Pardew early days wanted to float it over the mf to Obertans as quick as poss who was to run down and hit loads of well directed crosses at two big lads. Pards plan: Tell everyone slyly that Hatem was a lazy c***. Result: a load of donkeys believed him for months till they realised Obertans was actually s***. ...which meant we won a bunch of games and were in 5th place at the end of January, defying everyone's expectations.

Really? Your support of the club rests on whether one player is involved/not involved? That fascinates me on several levels. If you hate that player so much that it affects your support, why not find a club where you like all if the players. Wouldn't you guys enjoy that infinitely more? Ffs, i dont think he meant it literally to be fair to the guy. Likely not but the pissing and moaning about players and a gaffer that has us in 5th spot on 3 Feb is really rattling my cage. We have a very real opportunity to be in 4th come Sunday evening and yet people still slag off the squad and manager. It is no wonder Newcastle supporters have the reputation of being completely delusional. Back on topic - I hope Cisse starts on the bench and gets the second half. I think it may be overwhelming to start after the couple of weeks that he has had. That and it will give the crowd a lift.

The midfield was being overrun. He wasn't contributing. If any other player was as bad as he was - everyone on here would be making up derogatory nicknames. When HBA is shite, then it is the fault of the players around him. He's not as good as many of you hoped. Get over it. Hopefully he will improve his game and earn some playing time.

Dehydration. Any flight over two hours has significant impact in terms of dehydration and it's affects on muscles. I know this because in North America teams often travel 2 hours + on road trips and the trainers battle it all the time. It shows as fatigue for the most part.

What was the craic between Cronaldo and Casillas??

VaVaVoom stated "I think most CB's would do well alongside Colo". This is clearly a tacit questioning of Williamson's ability. I disagreed. I think it is naive to suggest that any CB next to Colo would be competent. I think Williamson has proven to be a very capable defender.
-
Fair call; however, my point stands that it is unfair to down play Williamson's ability because he is partnering Colo.
-
They do work well together. I think most CB's would do well alongside Colo. Perch v West Brom??? It is naive to suggest that most CB's would look good next to Colo. I think they have a good partnership because they complement eachother well.

Gotta love the footwear in the photo - shower shoes, oxfords, orthopedic trainers. It just oozes class.

30 points by the turn of the year - exceptional!

You are a fuckin moron. OK so that is how this board works. As the reason that pregnant women shouldn't drink, I am surprised you even found the key board to bang out your eloquent narrative. For my part, I think it is laudable that your keeper is trying to introduce you back in to society. Time for your medicine and please don't hit your mommy today - she has told you she doesn't like it.

Nice try. At what? Are you telling me that he HAS earned it? Does he have to? Of course he has to earn it - NUFC isn't a charity. Those that earn it play. How else is it supposed to work?
-
Which part is not true? Which part is crap? Have I missed some of his International appearances? Have I missed it where he has earned a place in the team? Please correct me if I mis-stated the actual facts. Not speculation, not hope, just facts.

I am so sick to death of this crap that gets spewed - "prodigious talent", "gifted", everyone else is shite in comparison. He has made two, count 'em TWO appearances as a sub for France in the last 2 and a half seasons. You have to go all the way back to the heady days of 2007 if you wanted to see him get an International start (unfortunately, you wouldn't see hiom finish as he was generally subbed off at aroung 75 minutes). The guy is possibly just slightly above average but we don't know that because he can't seem to earn a place in the team. I am not part of the youtube generation that drools over tribute compilations lasting 2 minutes. All I can go by is what he does when we see him play and also what the coaches and manager deem him worthy of. It is entirely comical that Obertan is shit, Jonas is shit, Shola is shit, Sami is shit, Vuckic is shit, etc. etc. Guess what children, they are ahead of Ben Arfa because they are more deserving of a place PERIOD. Glorify him all you want but the fact is he hasn't earned it.
-
The stats of ben arfa is good for mifdfield or winger but he plays not lot of game in season 25 (perhaps the coach don't like a player who say shut up pardew bitch never ben arfa had played season clash with coach every time) 109 games holder 63 x decisive (30 goals and 33 assists ) For 120 min play/ one goal or assist for example nasri 300 min plays for one goal or assist example sanchez 130 min play/for on goal or asssist.Every year ben arfa plays >= 8 goals 8 assist for 25 games The only problem he comes back injury if he not plays he is not recovery Yeah Hughsey. Shut up. I would love to shut up - but I just don't understand a single of word that has just been said. Currently trying to follow that post through word by word and saying it out loud to see if it helps.. If you work it out - please, for the love of all things good and Holy, do share!!

generally not because there is only one referee in each half. In the NHL the playing surface is exponentially smaller and they don't seem to get in the way any more than they used to.
-
In a match where Pardew needed to compensate with some height to protect our stand in CB's. Which Shola did, by the way, managing a number of headed clearances. What is farcical is the notion that HBA should start no matter what tactical challenges are in force. If you would take the time to learn and understand the game, you may enjoy it more.
-
The players are fitter and faster than ever and the refereeing system is the same as it has been for decades. This strikes me as very wrong. While I appreciate the argument about gaol line technology removing the human element. This cannot be the end of the discussion. They tried goal judges in the Europa League last year (?) but didn't pursue it. Perhaps a different approach similar to what they did for ice hockey in the NHL. They now have two linesmen and two referees. In football, the system would translate where each ref is assigned a half of the pitch and is the primary authority in his half. Less running, the ability to get in to better positions and also, the ref in the "non-active" half can offer back up on a call using the head sets, as they may have a better site line. All of which happens instantly so that it does not disrupt the flow of the game. My point being simply that it is not nearly good enough to keep doing things the same way simply because that is always how it has been done.
