And it gets worse. They are fucked now, IMO.

Mackems look poor. No real quality - same as us.

Being setup as the scapegoat for yesterday and to be honest, it's depressingly predictable.

I've never seen that before. Prophetic words from Stewart Robson (I hear he is a twat though too)

Who fancies having a thoroughly fruitless protest against Pardew?

Better managers than this prick have been run out of town far quicker. I'm at a bit of a loss as to why he's getting such a long leash by the rank and file. Aye - Souness, Guillt and Allardyce to name but three. I think much of the vitriol aimed at Ashley, has kept Pardew safe. Not sure that's the case any more though. Said I wanted him gone on TS earlier, and I've not changed my mind. -

Man United score an early goal next Saturday and I think things will turn very quickly. If most of St James can be bothered to rise from their malaise. -
Beren - we simply aren't big news any more, apart from when they try to shoot themselves in the foot (like the Pardew incident the other week) The local rags ask questions, but they could and should do more. We have national hacks like George Caulkin, Simon Bird, etc who do a fare job but again - the media are more concerned about what's going on at Man United, then ask serious questions of how Newcastle is being ran. The only thing that Ashley is going to take note of, is if there is a huge drop in season ticket sales - which I think might already be happening, given what Pardew said yesterday (about the owner wanting a more attacking side) as well as offering sweetners for s/t holders to sign on again. I hope for those that remain, it won't wash and more performances like that in the remaining 7 games, will force people to turn away in droves. It's the only thing that he will be worried about. 30000 inside St James Park for home games next season, won't make his tacky advertising look so good then, with empty seats everywhere. It's what should happen.

Pardew; "As poor a performance as we've seen all season. Poor energy levels after midweek v Everton - players had been rested. Not good enough for the fans who travelled down. Players need to care more and show more belief. Again - blaming no energy - 2nd best. If we play like that in our remaining games - we'll not get another point. Lack of a goal threat which they will try to address in training this week. Ashley (and the club) under no illusions of what needs to be done in the summer - today has not changed that. Elliott did well - Anita worked hard - everyone else 'No'. Didn't look as if we knew how to score a goal"

More cowardice today - not only from the players, but the manager too. PARDEW OUT!
