  1. Mirror is also running the Rangers story again (about Ashley buying them) Wanting to take them into the CL, indeed.
  2. I thought we would be first - Mancs getting a big away win, etc.
  3. Understand all of them associated with the first team and Beardsley 'cos he's an arse-licker, but not sure what Dave Watson's done? Just a clean sweep really and the fact that we produce nothing at all from the academy. From the reports I've read in some of the local rags he's had quite a bit of praise for their cup run this season. Surely their failure to take it any further is when they end up working with the first-team coaches? Agree with the rest though. I've gone on like a broken record for donkeys about Woodman. Can't understand what he must do in training. Krul still flaps at crosses, can't kick for s*** and Elliot has just remained generally useless. Throw Alnwick in, too and he's working with three players. Hardly a heavy caseload. Why blood a kid when you can bring on a striker who is soon to be out of contract & hasn't scored a league goal for years? A caller, may well have been BG, asked Ando why Shola ahead of Armstrong and all he got in response was "why bring someone on for the last 5 minutes at all?" Was the lad after me, I think.
  4. Ian - you are off your nut. ;-) If folk are still happy to go, then it's up to them. But don't complain when you get served a shit sandwich every week. That's what ashley is all about.
  5. It'll fall on deaf ears. If this is to work, you need to spread word via social media, get The Chron and local TV onside.
  6. Alright BG, f*** me you've gone all showbiz lately Just trying to spread the word and motivate others to speak out too. I wish I could, I'd just go to rambling mess though and make a fool of myself. Do it. There's nout too it man - it's like speaking to a mate on the phone, just have to remember not to swear of say owt libelous! Ando's a good bloke - met him a good few times. I got on 5Live and spoke to Tony Livesey the night Carroll was sold. Rambled on about 'betrayal' and ended up regurgitating the nufc.com piece about everyone being liars. Wasn't pretty. Well done though

  11. heard u on the radio on the way home from the match. you're gradually starting to turn Ando, just need to work on Lowes now. I don't doubt Ando agrees with me. But he's gotta watch his P's and Q's. TS need to give their heeds a shake though, because if they continue to sit on the fence, the show will lose creditability very quickly. Especially if they are just seen as a club mouthpiece.
  12. Decent write-up, huss Hopefully won't be the last,
  13. For those criticising the bus thing, at least they are doing 'something', which is more than what many of those who go to games are doing.
  14. Been in touch with Razor. Says that he's not got any problem with what I said - folk will only be banned if they swear, or make false accusations. Doesn't accept totally that the TS aren't biased towards the club - says a relationship has to exist between the media and the club for all to benefit. In fairness to him though, the BBC are his employers. He and I can'r say owt more. Would be good if others rang in through the week though and asked the same things as what I did. Can't do it on my own! That said, I think TS are too close to the club.
  15. Pardew; "Even up until the first goal - competitive. Decision for first goal went agaisnt us. No creativity or cutting edge - having to push players forward and getting caught out at the back. Mistakes being made in defence (which he says is unusual!) Difficult to talk to fans at moment, due to poor form. Man United a good side - games coming up where we should be more competitive and score some goals(!) Reckons we were still in the game at 2-0 (!) Really wanted a goal - some half chances. Says Remy might be available for Stoke - he's a miss. Cisse worked hard. Confidence seeped out of the side and they got the 2nd. Says players gave everything, but not good enough. Gotta be realistic of where we are - next game is important and we need to threaten the goal more." Thought Lowes let him off the hook, if I'm honest.
  16. Got some bloody Pardew apologist texting in on Radio Newcastle now.
  17. You were far too measured & polite, the local media deserve as much hostile criticism as the club. For a start someone needs to tell Mick Lowes that Pardew is not his best f***ing mate, therefore he should not interview him in a manner as if he is. Feel free, Wandy I said as much as I could, as didn't want to risk getting binned from the show. Believe me, I am tempted every week, but I'm not sure I could keep the rage in. As long as you don't swear at them though they surely cannot bin your call. I've question their editorial policy (brown-nosing the club too much) It might not have gone down well. That would leave them wide open to the criticism that they run their radio station in the exact same manner as Ashley runs NUFC. It depends on how much the BBC fear with getting on Ashley's bad side. Their commentary contract is their bread and butter.

  20. Is he on every week or something? I try go get on every week (am part of the fans forum and a regular) Great call mate. I hope you questioning the BBC's stance doesn't result in you being banned. I hope not. My cousin is Razor Raisbeck - I'll drop him a mail a bit later to see what the craic is. He's hosting the phone-in tonight.
  21. I did, and I asked for Total Sport to come off the fence. It's one thing attacking the players, but they up till now have refused to question Pardew (though Ando did a little tonight) or the owner. I'll link to the show when it's uploaded later on tonight.

  23. on the brightside - mackems are bottom now. No real consolation though.
