QPR, L'pool & Arsenal seem to be the most likely destinations. All desperate for strikers.

He hasn't been great recently. He & Colo have been a weak point defensively. Although he looks good going forward and contributes to good play. He has no end product and provides no width. At least Simpson provides some width. Really think he should move to RB when Simpson leaves. Young manages to provide width on the left despite being right footed, cut-back and cross although most lb's find themselves running onto the ball. We often play with 10 outfield right footed players. Poor balance.

Aye tbh i'm always looking for a "come & get me" from our targets. Indeed that's what happened with Debuchy and others. Big Demba fan, if he leaves he leaves. Hopefully Cisse can stay injury free and find his scoring boots.

Perch's positioning and movement at CM is pretty bad like. He doesn't smell danger from there.

Would you work at a shite company for double your wages? I would. But I am a mercenary.
-
Nope not player of the season imo. Been poor for awhile. He & Colo often concede goals on that side.
-
Every player (everyone tbh) is a mercenary to some degree. If you could double your wage, no matter where you worked or how much you earned, you would leave. This is where I think football fans are a little idiotic. We have players joining us from CL clubs and teams that can win trophies in their homeland. If things where equal, no player would join us from Ajax ffs. Most are here because you get paid more in the PL and it's a better shop window for elite clubs because it's supposedly the toughest league in the world. But I agree, I really believe Pardew when he said 1 or 2 have had their heads turned. Ba & Cabaye for me.

Thank you.

It's not only that. Our style changed back to the way it was when we were awful in January/February. The philosophy and mentality is dreadful. Exposing individulas in defence, relying heavily on Demba and Hatem in attack. No concept what so ever. I don't know if you've noticed but that's largely how we played last season too. January & Feb yes but also that long unbeaten streak at the start of the season. In our best run of form. Cisse scored & we kept the goals out. We relied on Cisse, Cabaye, HBA & Ba to win us matches. No great possession based style. We didn't blow teams away in general. Scored goals with our fire power. In that run, HBA/Cisse scored about 8 goal of the month contenders between them. Biggest problem compared to last season is that our lack of possession & defensive frailties are being exposed. We've never been great on possession, nor had coherent attacking moves. Get the ball to Cabs & HBA, they'll provide for the 2 up top.

Yep. Scapegoat. We kept loads of clean sheets last season, this season we haven't. I suppose that's greedy Demba's fault too.

And yet he's the only one doing his job properly. I don't see the point in purposefully ignoring and simplifying what people are saying, just so you can make a post like this. He's right though, Ba is a forward and is scoring goals (the majority of our goals unfortunately). There is this naive belief that the only reason Cisse isn't scoring is because we aren't playing 4-3-3. Pardew is definitely too cautious but I doubt there is a manager in the league who would take the forward who is scoring all the goals in a side struggling to get them and move him out wide to a position he struggled/failed to score from. If Cisse has been banging them away there would be more of a case but he hasn't, you can blame lack of service but Ba is dealing with the same problem. Thank you. Thank you so much. Cisse has had chances and missed them this season. I've never heard of a #9 who can only score in a 4-3-3. A striker who plays on the shoulder of the last defender has excuses made for him because he's unable to score in a partnership. Beggars belief. 2. You actually get people here saying that our low chance creation style of football suits Ba over Cisse. Nobody here wants to admit that, Cisse being shit has a lot to do with Cisse being shit. He'll come good like. But I hope it's from the bench.
-
Oh he's scored once. What's that, 4 goals? Around as many as HBA & Cabaye.
-
And yet he's the only one doing his job properly. I don't see the point in purposefully ignoring and simplifying what people are saying, just so you can make a post like this. the point is unbelievably facile. Had Cisse & Ba swapped positions on Saturday or Monday, would the other 9 players been any better? He's hardly Gareth bloody Bale out wide and atm Cisse isn't Cisse or Ba down the middle. Worst part about this Cisse shit, is that he's played down the middle a fair bit this season.
-
If RVP had played like Cisse, you think he'd still be playing? He's scored 2 league goals ffs, one a total fluke. 0 in the Europa. I would bench him. I reckon Fergie would bench RVP or more accurately Chicharito. Cisse's played up top a lot this season. If Cisse scored some goals there would be a legitimate discussion.

You're missing something, the shitty long ball doesn't suit Ba or any of our players. We're not playing long ball football because of Ba, I agree with the rest of your post apart from his exploding knee though. Exactly. Ba atm is simply the better striker. 2 chances on Saturday, 1 goal. Cisse had two, 1 saved, 1 blazed over. Granted it was also only 45 minutes but Ba was benched. He came on, 2 chances and 2 goals. He looked better than Cisse beforehand anyway but from there, there's been no turning back. I find it absolutely ridiculous when people make such excuses for Cisse. The 4-4-2 suiting Ba and not Cisse has to be up there. The long ball, creating f all suiting Ba is a close second. ATM, anything with Ba playing centrally will suit him because he's in goalscoring form.
-
Doesn't provide any width and it's a problem.
-
I'm a big fan of Ba. I've long thought he's our best striker. The way he scores his goals I don't think barren runs are in his nature. Right place right time - boom. With Cisse's emphatic goals you can see how this run of form has happened. A lot of Cisse's goals he has to catch the ball perfectly on the half volley and it rifles top corner but with Ba, I don't know I just feel he's more consistent with the finishing and more powerful in the box to force himself a goal. Less reliant on brilliant strikes. But with that being said, if he wants to leave it's best we just sell him. 7million is robbery and I think he'd do brilliantly wherever he went. If he wanted to stay, i'd bench Cisse and build the team around Ba as long as he keeps scoring. But, it's not going to be.
-
Would agree. He's at that stage Ba was at the end of the station where all the confidence has gone.
-
He was offside for the goal too.
