Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan

Well kidnapping and leaving him in a dingy basement somewhere to starve out his days. We need to hire Pat* Phelan! Ronnie Pickering would be better -
Nowt to do with Charnley being incompetent. He's just doing what he's told. Rubbish he may be the ultimate subservient yes man but he's proved he's seriously lacking in negotiating and closing transfers it takes us fucking ages to do something other clubs close quickly and efficiently
-
August the 10th is going to be epic
-
The problem is no one other than Rafa knows how to carry out a transfer. Charnley is just an incompetent prick he should be stuck in a field somewhere to scare birds away that's all he's fit for
-
No better than Ciaran Clark

Now, whilst what you say is probably accurate, the fact that you're easily the most negative poster on here (sorry Crumpy) means I might take it with a pinch of salt. Realistic rather than negative I'd say. It's just very concerning that we now face the real prospect of a 3rd relegation under this cunts tenure. That will be 1 less than we've previously had in our history before this chump rocked up And in this era there are still people voting yes in polls that they are happy with us signing utter utter shit like these 3 whilst other teams in the league are trying their utmost to compete and grow the club What is wrong with people man what has some of our fans become why is apathy just considered normal Well you were spot on last season tbf with the Spanish Tony Pulis 100% taking us down and judging after the 2nd game of the season that the team would be unable to win 10 games. We all make judgemental errors in the heat of the moment. Don't get me wrong some of the football we play at times is Turgid but it is what it is. I'd gladly take winning 10 games this coming season now by the way

We finished 10th with pretty much the same squad. Cardiff, Huddersfield and Bournemouth are 3 worse than us off the top of my head. Southampton, Fulham, Brighton, Palace and Watford aren't much better if at all. This 10th place gives off false senses of security we finished 10th on 44 fucking points man it's not as if it was a good mid table season on 50-60 points. We lost 1 less game than the team that finished bottom and Huddersfield Southampton and Fulham have strengthened. Our squad depth is crap and our ability to score goals is a huge concern. As Rafa has even said this season will be even more difficult than last to hit that 40 point mark You've just given 8 teams there that you think we are better equipped than I beg to differ Every season is more difficult than the last. I said we were definitely better than 3 and on par with or better than a further 5. If you think we have the worst team in the league then you're just being ridiculous. With Pardew, Carver or McClaren in charge I'd be shitting it, instead I think we'll finish around 15th if we don't lose any first teamers (which is looking very likely). I don't think we have the worst team In the league but it is a much of muchness between 8 sides or so and that was evident in the 3 that went down last year Come kick off time we will see how better equipped everyone is but I don't hold out much confidence in us having what's needed to have a stress free and panic stations year

Jesus Christ how on earth are people voting yes to be happy at that. Them 3 would be absolutely insulting and embarrassing to any genuine football fan in the know. How on earth can we be expected to survive this year with bottom feeding transfers. I can't think of 3 worse than us as it stands

Wolves blowing us out of the water. They won't be going down

Stop referring to our fans as mugs, and making judgement on people's lives, as you're coming across as a right patronising c***. You clearly jumped on board during the Keegan glory years, and hopped off when we weren't as good. For some, being a football supporter is following your team through thick and thin.....it's very hard to walk away. I managed it for 18 months but started going again as I missed it, and more importantly, my son wanted to go......I wasn't going to deny him that chance, or see him grow up supporting a Man City/Chelsea or whatever. You've done the same there no? either way what you do is totally up to you but you're making it seem like if you don't go to home game its not following your team through thick and thin? that's not how it is, end of the day the stadium is in the city centre, easily accessible its not difficult to go to games, its harder to not go really. People can still be die hard supporters and not go to games, I don't like that people equate the two things. I went to my first game when I was 5, even went on away trips with my older brother when I was very young, but i couldn't go to home games because I lived away. I've literally wanted a season ticket my entire life but I just can't under ashley, that doesn't make me any less of a fan. He's not really suggesting that tbf, that not going to games doesn't make you a huge NUFC fan. HTT is talking a load of w*** and enormously generalising imo but that's his opinion and he's entitled to it. UB is just saying it's hard for those going to games to just stop on a whim, not that HTT can't have opinions for whatever reason. That's what I got from it anyway. It is hard I agree and I should know as I refuse to go but I won’t let that fat c*** take the p*ss out of me one more day and won’t be back until he has gone which I have no doubt will be years. You say he didn’t mean it like that then why mention thick and thin and Keegan glory boy then. This forum totally illustrates the divide between the support in general about what the support should be doing to put intense pressure on the utter cretin of a owner. West Ham fans although maybe a tad too much showed the type of action which should be taken. Won’t happen here though. What is it you're doing as a fan to put intense pressure on Ashley? Staying away is all well and good, but seats will just get bought by students and PL day trippers. To me, the AO placards and demos (ive been part of all of them) at the ground have been the best way of getting at Ashley, but I'd certainly like to see it get a bit more militant and personal. I think thats the way to go too. Protest at games with placards and banners. Make a hell of a noise both inside and outside the stadium. Protesting outside the stadium even if its not a matchday will get publicity. Protests outside SportDirect stores as well. Maybe the action the West Ham fans took is the way we have to go. If it helps get Ashley out, so be it. I'm a bit surpriced it hasn't happend yet under the Ashley era. After all the shite we've been through under Ashley, at any other club it would have been delt with by some fractions of fans. If he done this in Italy hed have been assassinated by now -

In 2005 the currency rate would have been £1=1.5 Euros, so that figure is about right. Bit of a daft way of calculating it though. So we’re going to have to spend over £22.3m abroad to beat the club record. That cunt will always be record transfer. 10 years before everyone else there. Finances league growth and worth changes dramatically in 10 years. It's so pathetic and grim to think that since Ashley that has not been broken it just highlights absolute zero ambition Like his other business buy low sell high....The cunt -

Where has the money gone from TV Revenue, league placing prize money a nd all other revenue including commercial and sponsorship as well as player sales I'm absolutely convinced Ashley is using NUFC money that is assured to supplement losses in his other businesses so that all can be kept afloat I'd genuinely like a decent constructive explanation as to where the funds NUFC generate from being a Premier League club goes to because if we a re so light years behind the other 19 competitors as far as new player investment goes it would be nice to know why -

Getting excited about Rondon coming in Its like getting excited about being castrated

Major American sports have 1 huge difference it's called the salary cap so you'll get Franchise stars earning mega millions and players on same team earning 250k a year. When Beckham played for the galaxy there were lads in the same 11 as him earning 50 to 60k a year less in than Beckham earned in a week So yes the sports have huge money but there's parity with the collegiste and draft system which gives all teams some sense of hope There's no hope in football now and without hope us fans have nothing
-
The Gulf between the top 6 and the rest is absolutely embarrassing we are all just cannon fodder for them and it's impossible to compete. Leicester winning the league waa one of them freak sporting occurrences that happens once in a generation. The top 6 get the most money so there's no way the rest can even dream of competing. It's the same Europe wide though Bayern so far ahead of rest,Juve,PSG,Barca,Real the same What is the point in having a sporting competition when the likelihood is the same teams will always win everything Once the bubble bursts and it will eventually the whole thing will come crashing down

He should just walk I'd hate to see the guy have a 2nd relegation on his CV because I'm not very confident at all of us staying up if we dont get any more in
