Fair enough, felt Real had a bit more to their game in the 2nd half until City scored. Don't really feel any of the team has been better than the other, but missed roughly 35minutes of the first half.
It's not really. Same changes by Ancelotti has won all these games. Camavinga, Valverde and Rodrygo. It's weird because those three when starting hasn't worked, but when coming off the bench against tired legs has been amazing.
Real were poor because of that midfield. As soon as Camavinga and Rodrygo came on and Valverde moved centrally they got more dynamic again and it worked. Problem is those guys haven't performed when they've started, but against tired legs their running is great. Camavinga especially came on and has been everywhere.
In the last month Rodrygo has come on agianst Chelsea and scored to put them into extra time. Come on to turn it around 0-2 against Sevilla single handedly, scored twice against Espanyol at the weekend and now scored twice again. He might be the software bug at the moment.
Not sure if they've been solid tonight or if Reals lack of legs in that old midfield has been the problem. Benzema has had nothing to work with all night and Vini has basically run past Walker 5 times in the second half with minimal support from midfield. Ancelotti is a very good manager, but for large parts of this season that teams has look disjointed.
And I think all of us was expecting him to hit it towards the far corner. Just smashed it into the near one. Great finish. Mahrez is a great player on his day. 24 goals this season.
Two best sides in Europe this season. Very deserved final if it ends up being that. And the way City has looked right now, Liverpool have a very good chance of winning all titles this season
