Yeah, tried to watch all their games. Might be just that I’m more in love with Antony and Raphinha. I mean Vini is clearly a very good player, but he doesn’t create anything with his vision and his finishing/last bit of decision making isn’t very good. Like @ManDoon put it, he’s very erratic and that might be why I don’t necessarily love him. His speed and dribbling does cause trouble like.

I do wonder how much Alexander Isak would cost. Been struggling for Real Sociedad but same build as Ekitike and clearly very very talented and more experienced.

It definitely is. One is barely getting off the bench for a rather weak offensive Dutch national side and the other is a star player for a team with players such as Vini, Neymar, Rodrygo, Antony, Martinelli, Cunha and Jesus. One has performed in three European leagues with four different teams, the other has performed in the second dutch division, Championship and now in La Liga one season. The argument for defensive side that someone mentioned isn't true at all either because Villarreal have been only very defensive in the CL and not really in La Liga where they've scored 60 goals this season. I'm not saying I wouldn't Danjuma here btw, but Raphinha is a far better and more talented player. That is an absolute lie Go read their forums and come back with evidence for that statement. Why do I even bother. Raphinha has been their top performer by a mile man, that is indeniable.

Danjuma over Raphinha is just crazy talk.
-
There's two ways to look at this, it could've either been 60 G/A if he could actually finish or 10 G/A if he didn't have Benzema.
-
I call Vini Jr overrated and he goes on to score a hattrick and give an assist... ...still overrated.
-
He plays on the right. But yes, he would change our team for the better.
-
Ridiculous with Luis Diaz on the right when he's been fantastic on the left.
-
Liverpool going to fuck this up.
-
Same at the weekend. Him, Casemiro and Fernandinho have all learnt how to foul without getting booked.
-
Vinicius Jr. Raphinha and Antony are better players, yet it's Vini who is getting all the plaudits. Take Benzema out of the team and he's still very inconsistent and I'd argue Rodrygo is a better player if played on the left-wing. He's a very good player, but I don't think he'll ever be a top 10-15 player in the world and definitely not a golden ball winner. (be happy to be wrong though )
-
And rightly so, because that's not true at all. That's trying to rewrite history.
-
Well if the rumoured money is true, then I can actually understand him €200m for 2 years? He'll still be able to play for 10 years at Real after that.
-
Ronaldo could've possibly been the reason for Pato's demise and lack of development: ''Ronaldo came over and asked how I was, and then he told me ‘You have to decide, come with me (and he showed me a Playboy) or go in Kaka’s group (who in the dressing room had some church things)’.”
-
Started pulling his groin after he lost his virginity/got married. Should've stayed a virgin.
-
Pele. Respect the King.
-
Pato was good when you looked at him as a 17-18 year old. Developed to fuck all. Thought he would be the next big thing, total flop of a player. Kaka was amazing though.
-
I won't take shit opinions like this. Respect the King. Fuck are you on about? You realize Santos was the best team in the world back then? Went to Europe every year and beat the Champions League winners and top teams of Europe back then? The Benfica side with Eusebio that won two straight CLs (and played another two in 5 years) were torn apart by Santos and Pele scored 7 goals in three matches against them. Those games were prestigious back then. He won 6 Brazilian league titles in 8 years in a time where their biggest competitor was Botafogo with the likes of Garrincha and Nilton Santos who beat the shit out of most teams as well.
-
Right when I leave this thread, you reel me back in. Fuck off. First real legend of the game. The king of football. Show some respect.
-
Based on that comment he deserves to be named in here
-
Depends, at their peak and potential R9 is the only one remotely close to Messi (Ronaldinho was perhaps more entertaining but Messi and R9 had it all). However, Cristiano's longevity is ridiculous and he's an absolute machine still so I can agree with both sides.
-
I'm also sitting here rattled by a majority of the opinions. Congrats @ManDoon for creating this thread and for starting it with a shit opinion as well. (Modric is class)
-
That's not true at all is it? Fraser is the only one that is debatable, since he's had a revival under Howe. Anyone suggesting they'd start Almiron or Murphy ahead of ASM is bat shit crazy, with all due respect.
-
He didn't leave his man at all, I've looked through the images and he lost track of Cancelo on a very good cross/pass from Gundo. ASM doesn't react to it as quickly, but he tries to get back to it. Absolute bollocks that he just left his man for a free header. That's a good goal, end of story. You could also say Burns positioning is very bad and he should've been there to beat Sterling that is about half his size for a header, which wouldn't be entirely true either would it?
