IF Cuhna to MU is true, then it at least means that one of our transfer rivals is partially handcuffed for the rest of the window.

LOL Arjen Robben in his prime

Maybe he's just over-excited to get a few minutes? Hopefully, he will calm down as he gets more match time.

Player salaries are massively higher than they were previously, largely negating the increases in revenue. As a result, the “floor” of the current squad is somewhere around a mid table finish. 5 years ago, the floor was relegation.

If we don't have anyone incoming, then I think the belief is that Willock, or Joe in a emergency, can play RAM spot.

Love how after the ball hit the net, it kept violently spinning on the ground after. can’t imagine how good it must feel to leather one like that.

Looks like he’s playing in a preseason friendly.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us buy a couple youngsters with future PSR potential. That and maybe a CB signing given the number of contracts expiring in the summer.

It's kind of crazy to think that, if we avoid defeat vs Fulham, we will have 11 or 13 points from the first 5 fixtures. Whereas 3 seasons ago (21 - 22), we earned 11 points in the first 19 fixtures that season. Wild

I feel like we will look much better without Murphy on the right. I love the guy, but we lose fluidity with him and the ability to retain possession. Also, still too early to draw too many conclusions given (a) the madness of matchweek 1, and (b) a challenging early-season away fixture with two make-shift center backs.

To me, this is one of the reasons we haven’t been credibly linked with too many wingers. In a pinch, Joelinton and Willock can play in those forward positions. Add the return of Tonali to CM, and suddenly pushing either one of them further forward up field doesn’t seem so surprising.

Tripps offers a lot of maturity on the ball, helps retain possession, and allows other players to find space. Thought we really missed that in the early stages of Saturdays game (before the daft sending off), as much as I am excited by Livramento.

For some reason, at this point I think there's a much better chance of us buying some young off-the-radar prospect for £15 - £25 million instead of paying £40 million for a 27-year-old Gomez.
