Nah, a pre season is essentially just a handful of games to get match fit. That’s all it is. High intensity training and a few matches usually not more than 60 mins. It’s been blown up in to something way more than it actually is. He’s now played in 18 games if he’s still not sharp or in form that’s something way beyond not having a preseason. Reminder Tonali missed a full season and the following preseason.

It’s not dross tho. They’ve bought very good players they just need to find a way of gelling and making it work. Calling Isak, Wirtz, kerkez and Ekitike dross is absolutely mental they’ll either get it to work or recoup a large part of what they spent anyway. It’s also why these ‘big 6’ clubs rarely fail. his comments about being a Chelsea failure and Egypt failure were poor but the point I was making is he’s spot on that it’s not all about Salah. I don’t think Bruno would use the media against the club on more than a couple occasions and if he did he should get called out on it. It’s shit selfish behaviour from Salah. He used the media to get the fans to put pressure on the club to get a new contract and he’s done it again because he’s been benched. Again Isak and his agent was doing that very same tactic in the summer

Just take a minute to enjoy it they spent over £500m in the summer bragging about power plays etc they’ve failed to win more league games than they’ve won after 15 games Isak has scored one league goal.
