What player is worth selling to bring in Gallagher? Not any of ones we want to keep and any of the players we don’t want to keep we can’t sell or won’t get much for. So we can’t afford to bring in Gallagher.

I’m fully aware we need to sell players, I’m making the argument just because players aren’t injured it doesn’t necessarily strengthen the position we need strengthened. The club identified 2 positions and that’s the two positions I want filled I don’t think that’s massively unreasonable.

He’s a right winger that can’t score, can’t cross & can’t assist. so the RW needs strengthening and no amount of players back from injury will strengthen that position.

I get you want to be positive but if any of the teams around us had our window we’d be like brilliant they have barely strengthened. like I say I think we’ll sign Guehi but I think some people are bending over backwards to convince themselves it’s been a good window (so far) when Minteh left all you got in his thread was wait till we see who we get in RW or we’ll sign better anyway and now there’s talk of sticking with Almiron. I’m not blaming the club I get that it’s majorly difficult not I’m not gonna twist myself up to convince myself it’s been a good window or we are massively better off than last season. with that being said tho signing Guehi (which I believe we will) would change that massively and hope we can get in a RW

I genuinely believe we’ll get the 2 players in. Maybe it’s pure hope than anything else.

if someone is using the fact we’ve brought in 2 keepers, one that’ll never see the pitch as improving our squad then it’s valid that losing Anderson & Minteh weakens our squad.

Think you’d struggle to find many fans that would suggest this window has been anything other than underwhelming (so far). yes we kept all our big hitters but most clubs around us have also kept theirs and are strengthening their squads. We have been told two key areas were identified RW & CH and we are 5 days from the first game and neither have been filled. Not saying we won’t make signings but Iets not pretend it’s been a good window so far
