I get you are pissed off but a lot of generalising going on here. Some fans might be getting to games for the first time and absolutely buzzing about it or maybe people work most Saturdays but finally get a weekend or two off and want to go. As I say I 100% get your frustration. As I said the other day memberships are a relatively new thing 10 years or so. If the club didn’t see any revenue in it they wouldn’t have it and you’d be in a general sale queue with thousands of others regardless of how many games you’ve been it. That’s the reality of it. Season ticket holders are priority and the rest it’s a free for all. It’s been like they since time began

The system isn’t the issue. The fact they haven’t called memberships is. Wether it be the Ballot or the 10am random queue (a ballot in all but name) the fact is it’s random and the reason people are missing out is the numbers of people entering. The only difference is people could cheat the system with the 10am queue by having multiple browsers

He might have been able to while others then couldn’t. That’s potentially just shifting the problem from him to someone else. Unfortunately ballot is the fairest option for everyone even tho I was against it

Exactly this. I don’t think memberships were a thing 15 years ago. Back then it was season tickets and general sale. Tbh I’d prefer they went back to that than this ballot

No but a new fan gets a membership and gives them a fair chance of being able to go

For not it’ll have to be until we get bigger capacity they want new eyes on us this season and going forward

The fact Silverstone said the other day they want to introduce the club to new fans, the introduction of international memberships is giving people abroad a chance to perhaps experience st James park and also the fact memberships haven’t been capped points to bringing in new support. Memberships are old fans and new

I understand how frustrated and annoyed you are but the club are clearly trying to grow the fan base and ensure it’s not a closed shop for home tickets. That’s probably one of the main reasons they haven’t capped the memberships. They want to give more people a chance to experience St James park in the premier league. The fact they have introduced International memberships also highlights that fact. We might not like it but that’d the way it is and the ‘price of success’ and the new ownership. I dare say it was much the same in the 90s when things exploded under Keegan. I remember back then I could only get tickets for cup games or friendlies
