  1. Glad someone does He’s talking like the risk of losing £200 isn’t there and the £70 is a given and in his scenario the return is £270 and nothing is lost but I’m talking specifically about cashing out and yes the £70 is guaranteed but there is the chance of losing out on an extra £200 which I don’t believe £70 is high enough but that’s my opinion. End of the day if I had lost a bit and I needed the £70 I’d cash out but if it was for the enjoyment of the bet I’d leave it. Fuck me this thread is proper hard work at times
  2. But equally every bet is a risk and no I probably wouldn’t bet £200 to win £70 as the risk out weighs the reward and that’s not my kind of betting.
  3. This is such a backwards take on betting. It shouldn't be about possible returns but probabilities. You would skip a 7/20 bet that in reality should be 1/6 or something just because of the returns? Your missing the point. He’s already put the bet on. I’m saying commit to the bet until the cashout is in your favour. I’d assumed my point was fairly obvious apologies if not I'm not missing any points. You basically said it would be stupid to bet £200 to win £70 which is frankly just stupid. £70 is just his example and a higher number than i’d usually say it on but my point I’m making about cash out is for example you have a 4 fold all winning narrowly with 5 mins to go it’s worth £140 and the cash out is £120. I’m saying I’d cash out but cause I wouldnt risk £120 to win the other £20 and in his case I don’t believe the £70 to be high enough to cash out when £270 is on the table Looking at it I’ve explained it very poorly to begin with
  4. Same. Hate the Europa league

  6. With cash out always use the odds to your favour. Commit to the bet until the odds are in your favour. Would you bet £200 to win £70? Unlikely Unless you need the £70 of course
  7. Needing a 2nd half PSG goal. They go down to 10 men. That’s fuckin unreal.
  8. Did you have it to be a draw at half time?
  9. That is always my response, but every time I see the goal against Villa I'm blown away by it. You expect him to put his boot through it and he just guides it into the corner. His goal against Everton is a pretty straightforward technique which he executes impeccably. His Villa goal sits well with Cisse's second v Swansea, in that he just decides to do something different. That’s a fair point.
  10. Should add on thurs, Sunday and last night the team down to 10 men was only thing that fucked me. Not so much tonight tho
  11. 4 times since last Thursday I’ve had a red card go against me Leverkusen last Thursday, Granada on Sunday, hoffenhiem last night and Bournemouth tonight. Has anyone had as unlucky run as that?
  12. Why are Ipswich as big as 7/2

    NUFC kits & merchandise

The 'takeover gamble' Castore would be taking with Newcastle United kit deal - Chronicle Live The Castore logo The Castore logo Castore have taken a calculated "gamble" on a takeover after reportedly agreeing a kit deal with Newcastle United. That's the view of football finance expert Kieran Maguire, who believes the challenger brand will be hoping for "multi-year growth" in the event Mike Ashley agrees to a sale. Reports in Sportscal last week claim a £5m per year deal has been struck for Castore to become the Magpies' kit provider from next season. The uncertainty prompted by the ongoing takeover saga led to United agreeing a rolling extension with long-time partners Puma to produce this season's kits. Castore were only founded in 2016 and already boast Andy Murray, Glasgow Rangers and Rugby League club Sydney Roosters among their clients. The relative newcomers will be hoping for a change of ownership at St James' Park if the kit deal is formally announced, according to University of Liverpool lecturer Maguire. When asked if they had taken a gamble on a takeover being concluded, Maguire said: "Yes, they're not looking at sales just for 2021. "They are looking at multi-year growth and with Ashley at the helm of Newcastle, we all know that's not going to be the case. "It will be a factor for everybody concerned. It could even be a clause in the contract. "There could be a break or renegotiation clause that could kick in should he leave. Ashley's a smart guy – for all the things I've said negatively about him, he does know how to make money. "What he doesn't want to do is commit the club to a long-term deal at a price that isn't going to be great for the new owners as it'll affect what he can sell the club for. "If the new deal also coincides with a new owner, they will sell like hot cakes. You only have to look to see what's happened with Rangers. "I think there are parallels between the fanbases – both are completely devoted to the club and they will buy anything if the vibes are positive around the club. Both the club and the manufacturer will be reaping the rewards. "For that to happen, Mike Ashley in an ideal world needs to be as far away from the club as possible. "If we have a new owner and a new kit manufacturer, you have your ducks in alignment and you can see it being a successful deal." The reported £5m annual figure has raised concern among United supporters, with many considering it a low fee considering the club's stature. Maguire accepts it would be a comparatively low deal in the Premier League, pointing to Everton's recent £9m per year deal with Hummel as evidence the Magpies could command more. However, the football finance expert believes a favourable commission agreement could still make it a profitable deal for the club. Maguire explained: "There's always two elements to a kit deal. There's the upfront price and then there's the commission. "We've seen Manchester United earn a £75m per year deal with Adidas, but my understanding is they get a 7% commission on each sale. Liverpool have a far lower fee but they're on 20% commission with Nike. "If the fans are thinking £5m doesn't sound a lot, it's not just £5m. If it's a good-looking kit and the fans are keen to buy it, then the club will be making more money on top of that." Castore's first foray into manufacturing football kits with Rangers this season encountered a succession of early problems. Concerns over quality, problems with pre-ordering and a lack of baby kits were among the complaints raised by disgruntled supporters. Given the reported deal with United, Maguire believes these troubles will be a "cause of concern" among the Magpies fanbase. He added: "Given football kits have such huge margins, there's no excuse to supply them at a sub-standard level. "Hopefully it's just a teething problem as far as their existing range is concerned, but I think some people might feel a little bit disappointed. "You should get these things right first time."
  14. Nah the one v Everton is his best imo
  15. Maybe I’m wrong but I think mimms or his source got a little carried away with the fridge patter. This ‘seems’ a long way off yet.
  16. Klich gives away a pen. Marriner is such a cunt. Probably not a booking tbf
  17. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/andre-marriner/profil/schiedsrichter/471 3 premier league games this season 6 yellow cards Saying all that tho he ref’d Swansea v Stoke in championship on Tuesday and gave 5 yellow cards Last season he gave 59 yellows in 24 games
  18. I’ll need to check the ref before I bet in future. Think he’s averaging at 2 cards a game
  19. I have similar wullie Vardy to score klich card 9/1 (£12 free bet) Bamford to score tielemans card 16/1 Ayling & fofana cards 21/1 Klich & Thomas cards 27/1
