One or the other

I believe that things are presumably at some kind of advanced stage but that interview was a load of pre-rehearsed toss and proves nothing. He's only ever publicly made comments about Newcastle when he's got allies like David Craig or whoever that bloke was to ask questions he has scripted answers to. Nothing genuine in it at all. Was just an example of him not ‘rubbishing’ rumours months later. Hate it when people say stuff like Sean did and pass it off as fact when there’s clear evidence it’s not The initial point Thompson mouse made was that they’ve made no comment. No stoking the flames and no rubbishing it. Suggests a change in tact if nothing else

Or, if you look at Caulkins tweets, they know next to nothing and have been hammered because of their bullshit. They’ve no decided t stay quiet. No comment from the club is the most significant thing It's really not significant at all. Previous "takeovers" went on for months before Ashley came out to call them time wasters etc. While this one goes on Rafas contract is running down and we are completely failing to prepare for the coming season. Caulkin is sceptical, as we all should be. We're a shambles again but everyones too giddy about the thought of new ownership to care. Actually wasn’t it Ashley that started the kenyon one when he went on sky and said they were as far as it’s been. Point being he didn't rubbish it straight away. He lets them run their course for a while. The sky news takeover interview came out the blue apart from one sky news story in September. Ashley didn’t rubbish it. He said it was happening Said it was happening = he lied as usual. And whether he stays silent or fans the takeover flames is irrelevant, my point was that he doesn't rubbish the rumours straight away. And you say you can't deal with stupid Theres no conspiracy either. Either he wants to sell, in which case he'll do a deal. Or he doesn't really want to sell, in which case he won't sell (like previously). So the fact the club have said nothing yet = takeover's as good as done? Don’t think anyone has said they expected him to come out and rubbish it they are saying no comment. As you say it’s probably beneficial for him to lie. I’d say the statements from bzg and the new company are more important tbh I’d be weary of saying its a done deal. Something is clearly going on tho.

Ashley went on sky news on December the 3rd to say the club was in process of being sold so I’d say the fact they are staying quiet is significant Also the Mexicans have came out and said they are looking at Newcastle. Bzg release statements and start a company using a highly expensive and respectable law firm. Yet people still think it’s some sort of conspiracy. Sorry I just can’t deal with stupid

There’s nothing new to tell? The nationals have plenty of stories to go at, the Chronicle rely on Newcastle news, that’s why they’re the only ones keep pushing it. The rest will report when something actually happens or they have something new. Pretty much this. A new company started by bzg called monochrome is big news to the chronicle. The nationals won’t be interested until it’s done.

Get a grip Gaz nothing is happening man full stop. Done today Another day, some old shit. Give it a rest. No one has forgotten your opinion on it. Just shut the fuck up

I wonder who the other two groups are if indeed there are two. The Mexicans?

A post on rtg the Sunderland fans didn’t think of one of their own young fan mentally scarred for life when they were singing “Adam Johnson he fucks who he wants”

Who? What?

Means it’s at least another few weeks away if anything happens

From the chronicle amongst waffle about the advertising boards “The Bin Zayed Group remain confident in private that they are making progress in their bid to buy Newcastle, though at least two other groups are also understood to have held discussions with Mike Ashley lawyers over the past month-and-a-half. One thing that was clarified behind the scenes at the AGM was that the Premier League are still yet to formally begin the owners' and directors' test - incorrectly referred to as the 'fit-and-proper-persons test' by the Bin Zayed Group in one of their statements last week - though a 'heads of terms' letter signed by Ashley and Sheikh Khaled has been received by the top flight's governing body. (CW)”

How’s he only 20 in that pic

Nah. Good try tho

Dont lump me with Flat Earthers you prick If I see something that doesnt make sense, I question it. Like Shelvey not having hair? Shelvey has alopecia.. I thought that was common knowledge. It's called learning, you should try it sometime. I can’t tell if your joking or you need to relax a little

Fairly sure it’s illegal to put the shieks name in there and the lawyers. If it was fake the lawyers would have had it removed by now. Also Ryder did an article saying they’d checked and it was genuine
-
I’d bet noone at the club knows what’s happening other than Ashley and perhaps Charnley. Even the chronicle and co are admitting there is something going on. Seems to be only your mates pal and Steve wraith that thinks there isn’t. We’ll see I’m not getting carried away but it’s got me interested

So is people going on like we have new owners when Ashley is still here and going nowhere A company has been set up in the uk for the sole purpose of buying nufc. People are reacting to it and it’s up to them if they get excited or not. You are just being negative for the sake of being negative and it’s annoying after the 5th time Same thing happened last year. I'm just not falling for Ashley's tricks again, people have short memories. It's not been negative it's been realistic. That was quickly explained as a company with nothing to do with nufc and the company is still going and turning a profit. I just can’t deal with people who are constantly negative for the sake of it
