Maybe I'm just being blinded, but I don't often see his smugness that other fans seem to hate so much.

It's because you're not jealous of the season we've had.

Doubt they'll give him the job in the Championship either. Basically, through no fault of his own, his managerial record has been tainted and his credentials questioned because he took on a job through the love of that club, when his head should have known it was to be avoided like the plague.

Don't like McCarthy but Wolves completely had that coming for sacking him. As well as having a godawful squad of players. I'm calling this now: Jarvis to Liverpool. Overrated, pretty mediocre English winger with a bit of pace, should see about £12 million for 3 assists and one deflected goal.

If you want to talk about overrated players, please discuss Adam Johnson. Never seen anyone be rated so highly by supporters while failing to contribute anything of substance. He looks talented and skillful, but where is the production on the pitch.

It's hard when he's not a regular. He's done well for Citeh this season when he's played. Think if he was a regular player he'd be class. Just a personal opinion but I think he's a better footballer than Walcott, and way less injury prone.

That was mint. Tiote, Ben Arfa, Santon, Cabaye all great.

 

On a disappointing side note I couldn't hold my tongue any longer with the racist who sits behind us, I pointed out that he shouldn't be going on like that and we were treated to 20 minutes of threats of violence and then a confrontation at the end of the game. Sigh.

Also, Adam Johnson and Aaron Lennon are both better right wingers for my money.
