My main reason for wanting Gerrard in is to have a different player to everyone else. Do you think he will be starting games from now onwards, I dont even know what injury he had so will he be thrown back in or eased in? Remember when we had Solano and Robert on the wings. Wonder how many Ba would be scoring if he had the service they would provide. At the minute we may aswell have four fullbacks on the pitch and still they all seem shite, with Santon being the exception.

He shouldn't. Wouldn't have been an issue if Bellamy didn't have blood everywhere. When they showed the close up replay it looked fairly intentional to me. That aside, the decision for the free kick which led to the second was weak, our fullbacks are awful and the wingers are worse. Only positives from the game are Santon being in control of Downing and Ba looking like scoring everytime he gets in the box.

Imo people are reading into the whole HBA Pardew thing way too much. He's admitted himself hes not 100% fit yet and Pardew said he was going to be used for cameo's for a wee while so why people thought he was going to start is beyond me. Should be thankful its not Best and Shola up front which was mentioned earlier.

I expect Ben Arfa to come on aroud the 60 minute mark, which is what I expected given Pards comments after Bolton. Pleased for Vuckic.

I always use my wildcard within the first month anyway Team currently stands at Vorm Kompany Jones Enrique Mata Silva Nani Bale Ba Sturridge Adebayor Subs: HBA, Bosingwa, Simpson. Cant afford to transfer Ba and Adebayor out for the ACoN as I bought them when they were so cheap. Going to transfer Bosingwa for Cahill next gameweek then drop Ba and Adebayor to the bench for HBA and Cahill once the former bugger off. Shame that tonight I have Ba and Enrique, thinking about subbing Enrique for Bosingwa but that might be my heart ruling my head!

Are all transfers in Jan free or something?
