I'm probably looking forward to who we are getting rid of this summer as much as who we are bringing in.  Can't wait to see where the likes of Bramble & Carr end up.  Losing quality players (Owen or Oba being the only real examples) would be a loss, but I would trade either of them for having a manager that actually runs the club instead of the players with the largest mouths & egos.  Bring on the clearout.  Having read Allardyce's column for FourFourTwo every now and then, I'm eagerly anticipating the first time Luque or Zoggy have a strop and refuse to get on the bus. 

i reckon we just lost allardyce - and we'll probably see another freddy-esque farce yet again, before we end up with clarkie as manager

That was from a couple of weeks ago.  This paper is a tabloid who have no interest or clue about Premiership football, but if Arena was actually in the UK, it could more realistically have been as part of this proposed American takeover of City.

What's the sizing like on this one?  Does a medium run large like this years?

Why do we always seem to fade so badly in the second half?  Why do we sustain so many injuries?  Why do young players like James Milner start huffing and puffing after 55 minutes?  And why is the physiotherapist obese?  I don't think the players are fit.  I think this is an amateur outfit run by a manager that doesn't have a clue.  When Roeder & Pearson were just slumped in their chairs in the second half summed it all up for me. 

Get Allardyce in.  Now.

I predict a fortuitous goal for Owen in the opening stages of the match leading to a renewed sense of hope & optimism....only for us to go on and lose 1-2 or 1-3.  Allardyce rumours will reach fever pitch the next day.  Owen may or may not go off clutching his hamstring.

I'm hoping for a hat trick but let's be realistic....that sounds like the Newcastle script.

I bet Sammy Lee gets offered the job actually.  Seems like the logical idea.
