I sometimes wonder if his strategy is to turn us into a southampton/leeds without the debt. Ie a lower league breeding ground for talent, but then sell them on making a large profit but never achieving anything. Is it possible to make more money this way than by pushing for the top 6? I doubt it, as we'd need to sell 2 walcott's a year just to match the tv money...
