Viduka. he´s injured for another 2 months at least isn´t he, so i´m not going to count him as a PL striker until we get him fit. even if he comes back earlier, he will have had no pre season, and he´s an unfit player to begin with. even if he was fit and uninjured, which he isn´t, we cant be doing with only having 3 good strikers, 2 of which have very bad injury records. I hate how we could once again be in the position where 1 injury i.e. Owen could really fuck us up. The problem now for me is, although there are about 6 weeks left in the window, we could very easily not sign anywhere near the amount we need, what with some transfers supposedly going tits up. Concerned, our squad was too thin as it was, then we made it smaller and have so far only brought in 2 faces, 1 seems to be another youngster so not a full first team player and the other ive never heard of, it would also seem we have tried and failed with several targets (including January) which is worrying. Then again i believe we will finished lower half next year again anyway so fuck it. Just hope we dont have relegation problems like last season because that was unbarable.
