  1. I knew I would get a lot of sticks for my post. And even if I stretched things a little bit too much I maintain my opinion that a player like Ralylor shouldn´t be a starter in a club with those ambitions we have now. He´s not good enough. period.

He would do an ok job overall, but would still be an passenger like Simpson and Willo last year. I can´t recall people wanting to keep them. So what is really the difference?

I think it would be an disaster, in some sense, if we can´t by a winger. With a new wing back our team would improve so much it´s not even funny.

  2.

DAVIDE Santon could line up at right-back for Newcastle United this season – but Alan Pardew still sees his future at left-back.

“Davide Santon’s the left-back here – that’s his favourite position – but it might well be that Davide and Ryan Taylor start at right-back and left-back.

    :scared:

If that happens the club will have hit a new low. There´s NO WAY we will take a top 4 or 6 finish with a mighty Raylor as a starter.

Even if it not might be Debuchy (how dumb can you be if we can´t get him?!) we must buy someone else.

  3. Screw Carroll and just sign Debuchy for fuck sake!

Think our team has been just paralyzed by buying Carroll. It makes little sense. Especially with the price tag. It much exist so much more value players to buy.

I have been reading about Ashleys "new found enthusiast" for the coming season with CL as a goal etc. But how are we going to succeed with that if we are going all in with Carroll and if that fails basically neglect anyone else.

I´m worried. But with the clubs record the last seasons I won´t give up hope until the very last moment.

  4. i just listened to the pardew interview here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18981850

i'm sure he says at the end "if actually a fee comes in for a cisse, for a SHOLA or for a cabaye that is ASTRONOMICAL , we will have to take it and find that player in a different form"

maybe shola really is one of the most valued players in our squad. His astronomical price tag has put other teams off......

    :spit:

  5. Are you all serious? I would everyday of the week play like Swansea than some hoof ball like Bolton or that s***. problem with Swansea was that they didn´t have the quality players like teams that use to play like that do. Therefore it´s even more impressive the way they play.

I wouldn´t arguing that they maybe should be more direct sometimes. But not too much. If you ask me I would say that last season we played way to much long balls for my liking. I would like to play more like Swansea.

But like everything else. The best way is to mix things.

But I can´t understand the talk about not hoofing, but playing football and then talk shit about Swansea. The same talk that has hit Spain and Barca. It´s just insane.

  6. Unnecessary bump at such an emotional time ;)

Nah, don´t agree mate. Was like over one hour since the last post so it definitely needed a bump. We don´t want this to get cold, don´t we

  7. Not too get carried away here. But this feels really really Good! Just by looking at the pictures of him I´m definitely sure that he will be an integral member of this team many years to come.

Damn Curtis. You will be damn Good.

    Won´t you?!

    O0

  8. What if he signs, and turns out to be turboshit  :weep:

    Blame ATB.

I'm fairly confident that if we don't get in this Debuchy fella then we'd be switching focus and get Santon out on the right (as he has said he's been told will probably happen) and bring in this Anita lad or a dedicated left back.

Hell, I'm not even that opposed to giving Simpson a last year if the core of the side is retained; though I'd be staggered if we just allowed him to run down his contract.

    Whaaat

    :rose:

  9. If we somehow manage to not be signing this lad it would be the worst piece of business ever! Surly we will stamp up the right amount of money in time?

We badly need to upgrade on his position, he is an french international, he would cost under £10m, we hasn´t sign anyone else, and to be frank, no other position is screaming for an upgrade like his.

    What is the problem :dave:
