  1. Glad to hear Pardew say he wasn't exactly comfortable with some of the things HBA does on the pitch but he won't try to change it, the lad needs freedom and he certainly utilised it yesterday.

I don´t want him in a system. I just loved him yesterday when he just took control of the game, when no one else did it, and was just everywhere. Without him we wouldn´t have won.

    Ben Arfa 1 - Spurs 0 :aww:

  2.                             Krul

    Simpson      Saylor    Colo    Santon

              Jonas          Tiote

                      Cabaye

      Ba            Cisse          Marv

    Much better system for me.

And how do we know that this is the players that are going to play?

I was going by the line up posted by someone earlier, they reckoned that was the 11.

Was talking more about the players than the formation O0

  3. We should just be honest with the guy and tell him he'd be backup to James Perch.

Nah. Second to Simpson. After all. Wasn´t he a good wing back...

Serious though. The part about him wanting guarantees seems quite daft. He will get plenty of games either way. And should he even be a super success he may take one of Tiote or Cabayes places. Or pardew will just play them all.

In worst case he may haft to play at the back. But just in worst case.

So that shouldn´t be a problem. This only start to smell very much a money problem with him or his agent.

I see no reason why he should want to stay at home either. Ajax will never go far i CL for a long time and the quality isn´t that great. Would be weird if he would chose Holland over England (no offence).

  4. The quotes on Ibra should tell you what sort of a bloke he is though, he'll play hard ball in order to get himself & the player the biggest pay day possible, and he doesn't mind upsetting people judging by the comments he made regarding Swedish fans.

The deal with psg took over a week and it was probably only to do with him trying to squech every penny he could get.

Not want to be that person. But start to be a little bit worried now

  5. The truth is that I see in these negotiations the same negotiations we did in the last years (except for the last one) which always led to nothing, even when we desperately needed players. We have a great chance this season, don't wanna see us blowing it away cause we can't close a bloody deal.

Agree. We have a fantastic chance to establish us as a top club, maybe even improve, if we can get in some decent players. As it is now we would just blow it(?), like the Bowyer-summer. Hopefully not. But it just feels so unnecessary to risk anything.

I hope we today can find something out about this transfer. Even if everything is ok it´s just so frustrating not to no anything.

  6. I think the Jonas in the first season here has obvioulsy lost that same explosive acceleration and a step or 2 of his pace over the years which may have set him apart as a much better attacking threat than he is now.

Agree. Now days he have big troubles to bet his man, too previous when he basically just made a "hit-and-run".
