    Glad to see it's just swdewdew he doesn't like, as it's pretty much known no one likes him.

     

    He said that the social life in the club was brilliant, a lot of the players hang out in private as well. He basically said it was because of Hughton getting them together as a team.

     

    Hughton was generally praised a lot.

    The danish fanclub have a tradition of awarding a "Player of the year" trophy to a player at the end of each season. The club has always been cool about this and until last year, the deal was that 3 of us could come down on the pitch before the game and hand over to the trophy to the player. Alan Shearer, Shay Given and Obafemi Martins are amongst the players who has received it. I was lucky enough to be on the pitch to award Martins the trophy.

     

    Last year however when it was Bassong, and the arrangement was moved indoor. Because Lovenkrands is danish, we arranged that he would be there along with Bassong and we got to interview Lovenkrands.

     

    This year unfortunately we didn't have the finances at the fanklub to get a trophy so there was no "Player of the year". However we contacted the club again to see if Peter wanted to meet us again, and he did. This time it wasn't an interview but more like a meeting, we spoke of his family and everything, he was really down to earth and actually asking us questions as well about how we became fans of Newcastle and so on. The thing that surprised me the most was that he was honest when we asked about the other players. Generally he had a very good relationship with the whole team.

     

    He finished by asking if any of us played football which my mate did, so Lovenkrands gave him 4 pairs of his used boots.

    Was at Benton yesterday to meet Lovenkrands with some of my danish mates.

     

    We sat with him and talked for about an hour and he was absolutely amazing, he was honest about everything in the club and his personal life and he told us some things that i'm sure he wouldn't have told the press. He told us that his fathers death is still haunting him and that he can't sleep at night because of that.

     

    He told us that he joined Newcastle in the summer ahead of Birmingham and Wolves because he loved Newcastle so much.

     

    He finished the meeting asking if any of us played football, one of my mates said yes and Peter then gave him 4 pairs of his used boots.

     

    Obviously I liked Peter because he's danish like me, but after yesterday I like him even more, he's truly an amazing person.

    Was at Benton yesterday with some other danish lads to have a chat with Peter and he confirmed that he will definitely be out against Bristol and Doncaster, he was hoping to be ready for Nottingham at St James.

     

     

    Streaming Football Matches

    Different rules then, but for UK customers only the away team should be able to stream them.

     

    How do you enforce that?

     

    I think Bet365 manage it, our match yesterday was available to overseas users.

     

    I work at bet365 and have seen a lot of our matches this season on livestream. Sadly it's only for overseas users as already mentioned.

     

    The only reason why I can see them, is that i've been at work while we were playing.

    The danish national coach Morten Olsen today ignored Peter Lovenkrands' impressive performances the past couple of months.

     

    I don't get it, we only have Bendtner and Tomasson as good strikers and Tomasson isn't even that good anymore.

     

    The problem might be that Denmark plays a 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 and Morten Olsen doesn't think Lovenkrands would fit into that tactic. However in his current form, I believe he should have had a chance in the spring friendlies.

    Chester City on danish hands

    They will probably need to raise enough to cover the club's debts, I presume.

     

    Exactly, and further more they have to make a Ltd company in England as well.

     

    I'm considering buying a couple of shares, I just have my doubt that there will be any future in it, since Chester are going down to Conference North next season.
