  1. Just pass it around you plebs. Stop trying through balls to Harewood and Ameobi from our own half.

No. It might be easy to forget, buy Sparky's Blackburn were a right bunch of dirty bastards, for a good few years at least initially. Their entire gameplan was to kick lumps out of the opposition, and at one point they had a reputation of being a team that set out to injure players. Simply don't see the benefit of having someone here who had to resort to that style of play, as chances are we'd see a repeat of those tactics given our squad and the financial limitations we'll be operating under. And even if we did have money to spend, the failure at City isn't exactly a good indication that he's the right man to spend it. Even if it's agreed that he wasn't given enough time there, as all of his mates in the media have told us repeatedly (despite there being little overall tactical or organisational improvement since the Robinho signing in Sept 2008), assuming Ashley or a new owner did release a good amount of cash for our Premiership survival bid, it'd still be peanuts compared to Man City, and if he can't get immediate improvements with the squad he had at City then he's hardly likely to do much of a rebuilding job here where we'll need immediate improvement to avoid slipping into another relegation dogfight this time next year (assuming promotion of course).

    Pep Guardiola

I don't understand what his obsession with Sergio Busquets is. Maybe he sees a bit of himself in there, or maybe he just prefers Busquets because he's a home grown local player. Either way, he's not as good as Yaya Toure, and imo the team will suffer because of this decision - Toure is the physical beast who provides a balancing act to Barca's set of silky smooth midgets who can run rings around anyone and everyone, much like Makelele did for Madrid during the "Galaticos" era. Last season Guardiola didn't put a foot wrong, but he was helped out a bit by injuries in the second half of the season where he got away with playing Yaya in the back four in some of the bigger games - this season though he he has more to choose from, and as a result Toure is having to take a back seat at times. If they lose him, it'll be the first big mistake of Guardiola's tenure.

    Guess who?

Either Ameobi showing how Bambi on Ice should have done it, or Carroll displaying more bouts of inhuman balance.
  5. Santa Cruz. Largest amount spent by a club on a one season wonder.
  6. Awful defending from Toure was it.
  7. Play him on the right and let him drift wherever he wants. If he's half as talented as his reputation suggests, he'll be a major improvement on playing Guthrie or whoever out of position, whilst Pancrate is at this point in time still an unknown quantity who may not be good enough.
  8. Kusac really does look like a clown.
  9. Rooney has been class, but he needs to punt it a bit more like he used to. Seems wary of shooting.
  10. How many times now has Milner's first touch been poor when closed down?
  11. Nothing ever changes at Old Trafford.
  12. Fletcher with a fish out of water moment there. Hate it when shit cunts like him fuck up then blame the last person to pass the ball to them.
  13. Great play from Rooney, followed up by a pathetic dive and a well deserved yellow card.
  14. In all fairness, Fletcher isn't a right back and is only ever going to get destroyed by Young.
  15. Keegan looks like he's lost a bit of weight.

    Jonas Gutierrez

Was sick when we sold Zog. The only player who used his pace effectively and the only midfielder with end product. Inconsistent and on an off day could be dire, but he was exciting to watch and had alot more in his locker than he was given credit for. Alot of what has been said about him has been over the top imo. He was treated like shit by successive managers who preferred the utterly wank and "model pro" Duff over him. It was only a matter of time before he kicked up a fuss and left, I don't expect any footballer to be happy if he's dropped for someone useless, especially if it's an ongoing thing for several years, and then topped off with an imbecile in JFK taking the piss as the icing on the cake.

    Milner for England

I dunno. I'll admit to being a Milner hater based on his frustrating time here, and I still see that same player with the same limitations turning out for Villa, just in a better team, hence why he's producing more. His passing does look to have improved, certainly compared to his time here where he barely did a thing on the ball outside of aimlessly crossing it into the box. Maybe he'll be a different animal in the middle of the park in the future, rather than the frustrating one out wide? Will wait and see how he performs against better teams in that area of the pitch first though.

    Milner for England

Good goal with no keeper in the net, decent pass to a player 10 yards in space inside the penalty box. Against Hull City at home. Noone is getting carried away.
  19. Butterfingers from Valdes. Deportivo kinda suck going forward. Can see why Xisco was a flop for us, as their strikers seem to have absolutely nothing about them. No pace, no strength, no skill, no ability to hold the ball up, nothing to distinguish themselves.
