  1. Can't see Inter scoring one, let alone two.
  2. Smashing ball from Rooney. Ronaldo doing what he did all of last season - run into the box, get a chance put on a plate, score.
  3. That was awesome play from Ibrahimovic. Ferdinand simply can't get close to him.
  4. Great attempt from Stankovic. On the run, 25 yards out, half volley, outside of the boot, inches away.
  5. Ronaldo showing us how Zidane didn't do it.
  6. Ibrahimovic should have nailed that towards goal with his head.
  7. Poor from Vieira. To be fair though, Vidic must be a nightmare to mark at set pieces.
  8. Can't the commentators come up with something new instead of GERAAARRRRDD!!! Do something like GOALLL GERARDOOOO GOOOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLL GOL GOL GOL GOL GOOOOOOALLLLLLLLLLLLL GERARDO GERARDO GERADO GEREOROEE OEOREO GOOOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. Please.
  9. I swear the assistant only flagged once the crowd screamed for it. And it's his shoulder. Awful, awful linesman.
  10. Higuain is fucking shit. Everytime I've seen him play he's looked like Ibrahimovic's twin, except Ibrahimovic is Arnold Schwarzenegger and Higauin is Danny DeVito.
  11. Same with Muntari. Both struggling to adapt to top level football outside the Premiership.
  12. When are referees going to stop falling for Gerrard's dives?
  13. Awesome by Torres, should've done better with the finish.

    Park Ji-Sung

On the face of it, he's like a manager's alternative wet dream (after the Zidane's and the Maradona's). Probably works extremely hard in training, is a model professional, gets on well with others, never complains in public if he's constantly dropped, plays anywhere the manager asks him to, works hard on the pitch, contributes to the team when he does play both on and off the ball, and isn't a bad footballer by any stretch of the imagination. Wouldn't want him here though, if we're talking about "what if?" signings in comparison to others. We have enough grafters as it is and very little quality on the ball (i.e. he can make as many great runs off the ball as he wants, noone in our team will find him), and knowing our luck, he'd be like practically ever other player we've signed from the big CL clubs in recent years, either injury prone (e.g. Owen, Emre) or just dogshit without top class players around him (Duff, Butt, Smith). On top of this, if Ferguson is willing to let him go, then I'd be a bit wary about why he's doing so. This is a manager who has a gift for knowing when to give up on mediocre players yet still getting good money for them.
  15. Quality effort from Ferdinand. Reminiscent of Phillipe Albert.
  16. It's more the management than the players themselves imo. Yes, they're professional footballers being paid shitloads, but time and time against we've seen that a good manager can make such a big difference it's practically unreal. Give this same side to someone like Sir Bobby or Keegan, and once the confidence is sorted out we'd see an entirely different team from the same group of players. No matter how professional or highly paid these players are, without the right brains behind the operation, they're going to be shit.
  17. Gutierrez's delivery or final ball might be shit, but he's carrying the attack on his own. Will be devestated if he's sold because he's not one of the best midfielders in the world, which is what he would be if he had a good end product.
  18. Was just thinking how it's understandable why his previous club released him.
  19. Come on Taylor, just imagine its Given between the posts.
  20. Bolton are such a fucking dirty side. Would love to see them get relegated.
  21. Butt was in the picture jogging along casually, unable to keep up with whoever made the run and then crossed the ball in. Can't really blame him for that, that really is down to aging legs. Enrique was caught out of position, Bassong's positioning wasn't great, and Colo/Taylor were f***ing about like retards. Story of our defensive season. Not a massive fan of Beye, but had he been playing I don't think we'd have conceded that, purely because of the added bit of organisation he seems to bring to the defence.

  23. Are you quoting me there? Not quoting anyone in particular, as it was said by a small number of people in various threads. Needless to say I disagree with that viewpoint - he's lost the plot completely. Even simple passes are now beyond his comprehension, under absolutely no pressure he'll hoof it needlessly to an opposition player, especially if the ball is in the air when it comes to him.
  24. Playing Shola is like fielding 9 men. He's not only shit and therefore counts as a "zero" player, he's also constantly helping out the Bolton defence with his slow motion fouls, rapist touch and constant offsides, therefore he counts as minus one.
