Personally don't buy that, because he was just as s*** for title winning Chelsea in his last season there. Practically no different to what he is right now - same Duff, same performances, but those performances were just hidden in a top class side. Noone will moan about a squad player doing f*** all except working hard when the team is galloping to the title.

I would like to be fair in having an opinion on him, and would like to say that if he limits his game to simple passes only with no flighted balls at all then he's still a half decent backup workhorse midfielder to have in the squad. But he can't even play simple passes to players right next to him at times. It's f***ing shocking how someone can be this bad when they're supposedly Premiership standard and are getting regular games. I think there are a fair number of central midfielders in the Championship we could sign who are better than him and would contribute more to the side. Danny Pugh from Preston for example, miles better than this Jekyll and Hyde pile of dog s***.

Was obvious from his final season at Chelsea just how shit he'd be. And I bet you he is going to be the primary reason for us losing Zog should Charles decide to leave. Not only is N'Zogbia most likely being paid peanuts in comparison to the waster that is Duff, Duff most likely has alot of pull with other senior players at the club and probably some of the staff too. They probably consider him to be a top class player still, a slightly slower but more experienced version of the £17m Duff that Chelsea purchased in yesteryear. I bet you this is like the same situation that many of us see every day at work or even in school - the boss' cocksucker or teacher's pet who is actually shit at what they do but loved by those that matter within the organisation because they're the biggest cocksucking cuntflap the place has ever seen.

IMO Viduka is fucking wank. Type of player who is shit for most of the game but might put in a good touch or two. For some people, that's OK, but given that Owen get's stick for not doing anything if he's not scoring, then the same applies for Viduka - he's shit if he's not setting up a goal. And it's alot worse with him when hes not contributing because he spends most of the game getting fucked over by the central defender marking him.

He's going to be a class act in a few years time. Had the bottle to try and force his way into the game when things were going badly, and especially with that c*** of a midfielder playing alongside him giving the ball away at every possible opportunity. He has this top four central midfielder look about him imo. Just that little bit of extra ability and decision making that allows him to function in tight situations when being closed down and under pressure, and just seems to play it so neatly and tidily. Maybe has a long way to go in terms of getting to that level on a consistent basis, but it's certainly not impossible for him. He's already improved as the season has gone on. Really looking forward to seeing him in central midfield with a match fit Barton.

I dont think I've seen as bad a performance in the Premier League in recent times as from Butt today. If this was Ali Dia or Fumaca or some other joke "footballer" playing, it is a performance that would have lived in the memory long after the player had immediately been shipped out. There'd be 20 minute long dedicated youtube clips of nothing but shockingly abysmal passes and first touches by this clown masquerading as a Premiership footballer.
