This game as turned into loads of positives, regardless of which way the result goes. The return of Joelinton. Tonalis second half improvement. Livramentos performance.
-
Aye Isak was fine. He would have went down the tunnel.
-
That will be Murphy who's done nowt in 5 years.
-
Well done Tonali. Much better.
-
We've honestly been ok. Tonali poor but apart from that...
-
Just to reiterate... Anyone talking in absolutes about Tonali are morons. I only said he's having a bad game. Which I believe is true.
-
I'd 100% have Miggy and Gordon on.
-
Just to be absolutely clear... Tonali may be having a honking performance but I still believe in him. He has to play and has to improve. He's a mile off right now. Needs time.
-
Yeah, also getting to see that side of his game. Looks like the complete package. He's an absolute beast.
-
In fairness, I think Tonali has the potential to be brilliant but my god he's been appalling. Like really, really bad. Miley, Hall and Livramento have all shown for the ball much more.
-
KaKa, I like you, but let's not blame the position he's playing or the opposition tactics. He's been incapable of the very basics. He's not tackling, not passing, the pressing well enough. He's absolutely shot in confidence and needs some of what Gordon has had.
-
Tonali been shite. Clearly lacking confidence.
-
Hall playing LW not LCM
-
Joelinton already looks twice the player he was against Brighton away. Weird.
-
City pressing Lascelles and Dummett like fuck. Peps a genius.
-
Look Dummett, ya shite mate. One last dance?
-
Of all the clubs in the PL Palace are the most pointless IMO. Just there. Existing. Not shit enough to go down. Never good enough to get better. Just there. Change manager, attempt to play more progressive. Sack manager. Hire Roy. Stabilise. Sack Roy. Hire more progressive manager. Repeat.
-
Also, I think people keep shoehorning Hall into Livramento conversation. IMO they are in different stages of development. Livramento has way more experience in the PL and is much less green. You tell just by looking which one is closer to first team football. Both incredibly exciting but I'd expect Livramento to be involved more.

Got a feeling this might work out nicely re Barnes... Joelinton can revive his left wing role (with Gordon) and then little Joe can return to help the midfield.
