Feels like loads of movement already this summer, domestically speaking. Richarlison to Spurs Raphinha to Chelsea Phillips to City Jesus to Arsenal Sterling to Chelsea possibly Gonna be weird.

Think the club would be wise to sit back and observe what is going on for a bit now. I'm certain we will get the one or two more players in that we require, it's a case of who and how much. From the striker point of view, if the right player isn't available, I'd rather we took a gamble until January or next summer by keeping our powder dry, especially if we have secured another winger. Looking towards next summer, we might not be looking at 5 or 6 signings but 2 or 3 big big money ones. That will be the time when we can dream of an Isak or an Osimhen.

Of course he would sat that. He would hardly say that it's curtains for Burn, he wants them fighting for position.

Guys, they are called formalities for a reason.

The fella second from the left with the lumberjack checked shirt. If that's not his brother...

Journos would have let us know. Will just be paperwork reasons.
-
They getting Raphinha and Sterling? Shouldn't be allowed like.
-
Love the way everyone is getting Botman 4 on their new shirts. What could possibly go wrong.

It's nice but I'm not forking 65 quid. Which means dhgate is my option and their tops are tight enough in 2XL without adding the colour white into the equation.

As long as clubs get the message that we won't be taken for fools on fees.

I definitely think we have sold the "limited budget" narrative perfectly. It serves two purposes, firstly it plays down expectations should we have a tricky window and secondly, it gives us more leverage at the bargaining table. If we start hoying notes about we are rumbled. The last two weeks will be interesting, to see if we bring in 2 more top level signings or whether we do have a limited budget.

IMO the moment will come when Ekitike looks at his agent and asks whether he is actually going to get a transfer this summer. When that happens, his agent is going to have to find him a club with a deal that works and ultimately it will come down to whether his agent is not only good enough to find a bigger club than us but a one who can offer as big a transfer fee and wages. If, say, Dortmund come in with a comparable fee and wages for him, then fair fucks to his agent. I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear that "Ekitike has decided to join Newcastle", or something that sounds like a U-turn. Whatever happens, I'm not particularly fussed, like I was with Botman.

Looks like Darlow wont be going to Boro.

My mood right now is like a toddler sitting in its high chair, smacking the tray, whilst waiting for its dinner. Fucking howay mother man. Bet the kid who does the videos has had his finger hovering over the send button for hours waiting for big Danny A to give him the finger gun.

We got a full on press conference with Bruno, will we do the same with Botman? Would be nice.

That's because you don't understand the complexities involved in getting a signing done. We know it's happening, nobody promised us a time.

As much as I love winding up @Froggy, someday we will have to learn that fans of other clubs often have a better handle on their players and managers that we do. To call McTominay shite, just lacks any sort of nuance. A lad like that under SAFs Man Utd would have gone on to have a career similar to someone like Fletcher IMO, who was a great squad player and top professional. Personally, I think the past year might have stunted his development irreparably but I wouldn't rule out ETH getting a tune out of him in some capacity.

Adam P is my guilty pleasure.

Oh come on....... If they announce this in the morning when I'm working I will be fuming.
-
Aye from the youtube videos I've seen, he's absolutely massive. Going to be fun if him and Big Dan Burn play together.
-
Hopefully the media team had already prepared a video and are simply adding some footage.
-
Still the best signing we have made this summer.
-
It's about getting good deals as much as anything. I don't think they particularly care how much they spend in total, as long as each deal is worth it. So far, only Wood has been over priced.

To be fair, Man Utd mob their sporting director but that's more of a lynch mob.
