Can someone please tell me how it is possible to destroy a team and not even score? "destroy" is a bullshit word anyway. How can someone without a brain type on a football forum? I'm not really sure but you manage it.

You are surely taking the f****** piss? surely you are? We played badly last week and got humped, we played 'well' today and got nowt. Makes you wonder who we can beat yet apparently there's still signs out there that we can stay up. Mind boggling You talk some shite mate. We played excellent football today, full stop.

We played better football for 80 out of the 90mins. They had spells but only on the break and the odd corner. Yes we didnt score but we did destroy them.

No he's right we were brilliant today. On another day we would have scored 5. The only thing between us and three points was a magnificent brad friedal. We got beat and i'm gutted by i cant complain about the performance.

Will everyone's favourite bleached blonde be moved to midfield? If it was Butt and Smith it would be arguably our least creative midfield ever. I remember Keegan saying he knows what Smiths position is. Which implied that he doesn't see him as anything other than a striker.

I know people hate Smith in midfield but i'd prefer him playing as solely as a DM, if he has to play. He'd be better there than Butt, not that it's much of a challenge.

While I hope Martins scores six, I think you have a short memory. He wasn't doing anything before he went to Africa and I'm not expecting great things from him now. Martins is by far the most valuable player in a squad. For a 22 year old to score that many goals, in the best league in the world, in his first season, without a consistent or good strike partner or decent service, is to say the least commendable. He will make a big difference to this side because unlike Smith, Martins likes to shoot.

Seriously, I don't know what that's based on. Not saying we're overflowing with creative players (everyone knows we're not) but he's so ordinary I can't believe what I'm reading from some people. He struggled to make an impact in a decent side here, couldn't wait to get away - claiming he couldn't settle in the region, then he said he was off to Greece and reckoned the pace would suit him there as English football doesn't suit players like him (or words to that effect) and now he wants to come back? He probably wouldn't even get a game with our current squad if everyone was available. It was more based on my opinion of our players, as apposed to Lua Lua. However, looking at Lua Luas attributes, he's a player that likes a trick or to beat someone or have a snap shot. None of our players are doing that atm. Thats why i'd like Oba back, he will shoot from anywhere.

Someone with more creativity than out whole squad put together. What i'd give to have him up front for us now and i think he's average.

Geremi and Emre would be my centre mid. Why? because both can pass the ball and keep it. They may not be as good at retaining possesion but i'd take that risk right now as they would give us a far superior attacking threat. As well as that both players can take a good free kick. Absloutely. After the Man U game i deliberatly avoided this place because i couldn't be arsed to see the same nosensical contageous whinging. After a day or so people normally calm down and see the bigger picture.

The atmosphere on here is massively different to that on match day. People on here sound as if they expect miracles and are happy to critisise the team when it doesn't happen. Where as on match day i've barely spoke to one of our fans that believes Keegan is even under pressure to produce this season (apart from avoiding relegation). I wish our fans would stop trying to predict the future TBH. If anyone believes Keegan wont be our manager at the start of next season, then they are mad.
