  1. He was hardly going to have a good game, when the team as a whole were pretty shite. Overall, I still saw signs of him being a dangerous player. He's quick, got skill, knows where the net is. What's not to like? On the hand he's young, likely to be inconsistent and will take time to find where he fits our set up. Without 3 central players, I'd like to see him into the number 10 and start behind Wilson.
  2. I know none of us condone violence but if anyone sees Thogden in the newcastle end, smash his little bastard head in, ta. I think we can all agree that a Newcastle fan should not be missing out for the daft little bollock.
  3. A Man United vs Bayern Munich styled win. 2 late goals and Sean Longstaff peeling away before doing the daft Ronaldo celebration in front of the Red Cockneys. Haven't really thought about it much.
  4. Yeah I agree with that. Even if I hadn't got one last minute, I was ready to forget about the whole thing. Its been weeks of stress. Looking forward to everyone getting behind the lads.
  5. One things for sure. Good luck ever getting a cup ticket again. ST holders will be buying there's out of habit now. They can always flog them.
  6. I'm sure it will be fine but in future, screenshot the fuck out of anything important.
  7. It's being treated as a status thing between the haves and have nots. Amazed by the amount of mums(or dads ) on Facebook willing to brag about their kid/husband going to Wembley, to impress their facebook friends. Just wait until final weekend, when they are all posting their kids at Wembley, when two weeks ago they were probably turning the TV over during match of the day saying they were sick of the footy. Im talking about my wife here aren't I? I'm lucky enough to go but I won't look down my nose at anyone in here, who are equally as big as fans as me and who are equally as deserving of a ticket. All I will say is that I will sing my heart out for you lot. Had a couple of people in PMs offering me away tickets (because they saw how gutted I was when it looked as though I wasn't going to the final) and the generosity of people in here is unreal.
  8. Some of these away fans lived charmed lives mind. Leave the wives and kids at home every other weekend to go on the piss with the lads to every far flung corner of the land, then when cup tickets come around talk about the great "sacrifices" they have made. Poor little cocks should be getting the George's cross. Said the other day that there is a million nuances to everyone's individual stories. There's guys on this forum who live in foreign fields who have never had the chance to build up any sort of loyalty but they live and breath Newcastle in their own way and there's season ticket holders who no longer even attend, who just buy their ticket each year as a matter of habit. It's all over the place.
  9. Yeah it's an over 65 concession or whatever it's called, plus he's going in with the actually ticket buyer/holder so I can't see an issue.
  10. After being a whiney little bitch about not getting a ticket in the ballot. Someone has just offered me a ticket for my bairn... meaning I can now go. Not only am I buzzing but I'm gobsmacked at the kindness of people. Unreal. Although the bairn will have to get in with a senior ticket but that's a gamble I'm defo willing to take.
  11. Can anyone who has recieved a successful email please confirm if a payment has come out and if it has, was it debit or credit card? My only hope is that a late payment is taken from a credit card (took 24 hours last time).
  12. Told myself I could handle any rejection. Now I want to hit something.
  13. Don't give a fuck who's reffing the game, I'm in a huff now. I'd steal the match ball if I could.
  14. If you ring the box office will they tell you if you were successful? It's an old email address so I won't find out through that but I'm still clutching at straws.
  15. What worst is that I could go but if its a decision between me disappointing my son so that I get to go to Wembley, I'm not doing it. Its his 10th birthday and I'd rather see his little face as we get the train to London, than leaving him at home.
  16. Disgrace if I'm being honest but have no ill feeling towards anyone getting a ticket. Just hope the suffer a horrible death.
  17. P4. I've got my ticket (p3) but needed one for my lad. Means I can't go to the match but will still go to London.
  18. Yep. Now I get to watch people in p5 onwards gloat, while I feel like shit.
