I've just seen Blackburn's goal and Bentley's touch was awesome. Great play from him.

Simple passes, and helping out well with defending. He's not done much attacking but that's because we haven't needed it. I'd like to see him dribble with the ball and drive it towards their goal more often as opposed to simply laying it off to Enrique all the time. But, he's had a nice little half so far and hasn't put a foot wrong. That probably applies to the rest of our midfielders as well who haven't made that many mistakes and have helped out very well in defence.

I wonder what Allardyce feels like atm seeing us play good quality football, and 'winning' football at that.

Best thing about this is that no one has really stood out so far. It's been a total team performance here. Great to see

It's been good fun in the past 25 minutes. 5 minutes for Arsenal to rescue their hopes for the title.

Pretty much the same team. Nice Taylor hasn't had to do much in the past couple of games so it's not like he's been that important to our success. And with the way we've been carefully defending, I think Edgar will excel. We've not been under the cosh and in desperate need of last-ditch tackles, which imo is Taylor's forte.

I remember KK already mentioning that we need another LB but it read like (from the interview) KK was saying we just need more cover, not necessarily someone to relegate Enrique to the bench. I'd be really pleased if he did that i.e. sign someone pretty young and hungry to back up Enrique. Obviously the kid should be highly rated/quality, but that'd be the way to go imo since it'd be cheaper and wouldn't upset a player who's been in good form recently. It would also leave funds for him to sign players in the key areas of the park (central defence, center mid, striker).

Arsenal v Liverpool starting in a couple of hours. Seems Gerrard and Torres might be rested, but should Wenger rest his stars as well? Have they still got a realistic shot at winning the title or should he rest players like Fabregas and Hleb, who both looked tired on Wednesday, and save them for Tuesday night?

Agreed. And this is not overhyping him or basing it only the past couple of games - I've always thought this about him ever since his first couple of games for the club. Will turn out to be one of Allardyce's best signings.
