I doubt anyone really means it, they will miss two games now, FA Cup & Blackburn away.. may miss Villa game depending on whether or not they win it. Party hard I am sure, so 3 games max. Maybe not, I just want them both to do well and come back to us on a high. Aye, would be especially good if they spent some time on the pitch together, to get an understanding going before they come back here, because we're going to need them to hit the ground running..

I'm comfortable with him being 4th choice at the club. He has proved he can be useful coming of the bench (like vs Chelsea) and in the occasional match where he can get himself fired up (Mackems mainly). He should be nowhere near starting games however, mainly because he doesn't have the energy to be effective for more than 30 minutes. Even in the absence of numbers 1 and 2, I would expect Pardew to recognise this, and opt for a Best/HBA combination up top, a 451 with only Best up top (which wouldn't have been a bad choice away from home) or maybe even giving somebody like Vuckic some match experience.
