This. New additions haven’t gelled enough to make up for our injuries and not upgrading our Keepers has left us in a mess league wise.

What I like most about Eddie is he learns and adapts every season, while aiming to improve himself personally. Give him a crack at the Europa with a balanced, deep squad and I think we might have a good shot at winning it. The CL is a whole other beast and he’s done well to get us to the final 16.

Very streaky player, awesome when he’s on a heater though. That effort when he was in acres of space was so bad.

Thought they’d be fucked losing Franck and adding the players they did. Shows what I know.

Can’t be worse than last summer is what I choose to believe. Not chasing players who are cartel targets is a good first step.

Gordon and Tonali will be off, that’s nailed on and I am fine with it. Just hope we buy better this summer and balance out the squad deeper to have a better season domestically next year.

Agreed, love being further up the table and having that intensity we’ve seen in previous seasons. My expectations outweighed reality, still proud of them getting us to the final 16 and the decent cup runs.

No excuses for the poor start and self inflicted errors this match, but I agree we look unable to cope with the amount of fixtures we played. I know it’d be nice to have European football next season, but we might be better off without it so Eddie can have more time on the training ground with our new additions.
