It wasn't all bad by any means tonight. Just some very poor individual errors.
-
Didn't really deserve to lose either tbf.
-
I thought we looked ok. Slightly reassured by the effort and commitment from all and the fact Anita seems to be settling.
-
Looked a fucking foot shorter in the challenge than the stoke forward who got the assist.

Still a fucking HUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGE gap between the midfield and forwards then. -
I said yes at the time but, in hindsight, I'd say no now.

I'm not arsed about the performance tonight, it's all about the result. -

Probably a ridiculous thing to say but this is almost a six pointer already when you look at the table. If we can somehow get a win, all of a sudden, things look a world better given the fixtures we've got coming up. A defeat and we're in a for a fucking awful run up to Xmas. -
Fucking hell. We'll see Ashley's true colours come Jan. We're gonna need about 3 first team squad players at this rate if he wants us to stay up.

Actually, i can imagine Willo having a decent game against Stoke. They're not exactly full of clever runs and off the ball movement. Unless they play Jones, he'll just knock Willo over. Not sure about that as Crouch is on good form atm. Think he's got 3 assists in his last 3 games. -
Still seems so strange and just so hard to process given that he seemingly had it all. Also amazing how many other lives his suicide has affected.............Bellamy, Given, Coleman, Shearer etc.

Simple as that. It totally snuck up upon us at the end of August. How are we supposed to plan for that?

We're going to get bummed, aren't we? -
Where do you see the next result coming from?

The next two months are going to be the biggest test of Ashley's ownership since relegation/the club being put up for sale. We'll lose 90% of the games in December. We'll be in the bottom 3 by Jan. a) Does he stick with AP? b) Does he invest heavily to keep the club up or stick to his 'value first' methodology that has, arguably, got us in this position in the first place?
-
We'll be in the bottom 3 by Christmas. No doubt about it.

I like this new Mackem.

It will continue to get worse before it gets better.

Anita was the only cunt who looked interested.

He's not ready.

Diabolical. Zero movement, zero fluidity, toothless up top. Cisse/Ba just doesn't work. One of them has to go.

This Ukraine link was completely fucking fabricated by Harrys mates in the press. He wouldn't move to Newcastle yet all of a sudden he wants to fly half way across the world to manage a national team. Not a fucking chance. Manufactured tabloid shite to get QPR to fire Hughes sooner and get saggy chops the job. Fucking joke. Hope he completely bombs.
-
Yep and if nothing else we'd be putting the naughty bastard in the shop window.

I can't see the style of play changing anytime soon so, on the basis we need a complete change in playing style throughout the club, I'd bring in Roberto Martinez who seems to have the ability to set a side up with a real game plan and his teams always try to play decent football. I'd then bring in a long term Colo replacement, as I said in the summer and got laughed at. I'd also plump for a new right back and new winger/wide forward. To balance the books somewhat I'd sell one of Ba/Cisse as I just can't see how both can comfortably fit in to any system as a pairing.

Taking emotion out of it, Southampton are good value this weekend to throw in an accumulator. Post-European game NUFC, on poor form, missing key players and low of confidence against a (relatively) free scoring Saints coming off the back of a good win and some decent performances. All points to a home win.
