I mean that’s not what I was saying, we have been shit for 12 months away from home. Any good manager should be able to make improvements to the issues we see week in week out. Fwiw he gave all of them new contracts as well.

I’m not saying sack him right now, but we need to see signs of improvement. You already mentioned one (the midfield), but there are others that need to improve as well.

On the away form/performances in general, I personally think he fell into the trap of thinking everything would just revert back to normal once the injuries cleared up. Obviously that hasn’t happened and he looks a bit lost and out of ideas imo.

He would have to show signs of improvement for him to earn that mind.

If he is to last beyond this season, he needs to start showing some flexibility. The away performances can’t continue.

We would still have an unbalanced squad if he stayed. He also didn’t suit Howes style of play. Our problems now aren’t down to him being sold imo.

It’s quite obvious we can’t continue to spend the way at have previously. Haven’t seen anyone backing Mitchell over Howe, rather people realising we need to change strategy. That’s what Mitchell is here to do.

Do people still think last summers transfer window was good ? It was the start of what we are seeing now imo. We failed to build on qualifying for the champions league and are now looking lost on and off the pitch.

What convinces people that things will improve, particularly away from home? It’s the same performance with the same glaring issues week in week out.

If Europe is the aim and we are nowhere near it come January, they have a massive decision to make about spending in that window.

Struggle to see any positives tbh, just more of the same and the same glaring issues not being dealt with.
