I learnt after the Gordon signing to never doubt the club/Howe again regarding transfers. That being said I’d go for someone other than DCL and I suspect we will.

The majority of them couldn’t give a fuck about him or the club. 

He was brilliant under Ancelotti, the only small bit of stability he’s had at Everton. I’m confident if he stayed fit then Howe would do wonders for him. I would still prefer us to look elsewhere mind.

Looking at it another way, if we got Kelly, Tosin and DCL for £25 million, it would leave us which a much stronger squad. We could then go all out for a top class RW. (I’m still not convinced there is anything in the rumours regarding the Valencia keeper).

I personally think he will end up at Man City, especially after the Paqueta news. Be gutted to see him go, but if we spend the money right we found have a much stronger squad.
