If we are serious about going down the sporting director route, is it fair to say we won’t see any movement on this front until then? Especially considering there is another international break coming in a month?

Agree with that but some of the media suggesting no plans at all is for me untrue.

I refuse to believe these don’t have a plan in place. Yeah rafa isn’t available and yes they didn’t expect to happen this quick but surely they still had plans if they eventually thought it would go through.

I just don’t think he should be around the club at all and would make more sense getting rid of him tomorrow instead of waiting another few days.

He surely has to go tomorrow so we can have a full week of training ahead of the Spurs game without any input from him whatsoever
