I think we will have to put up with one more round of intense scrutiny tomorrow following the Sunday papers and then hopefully it gets announced next week

I think the PL will be asking questions about the piracy stuff etc, but it can't block the takeover. He is suggesting there that they will be asking them to end the piracy in order to help push through the takeover

As I’ve said earlier, surely all these issues where the first thing investigated at the beginning of these checks and any issues we would have heard by now.

Why ? None of these letters are bringing anything new up, it’s not like some revelation that the premier league or the possible owners themselves has come up. They will have answers for all of this.

It’s not as if these accusations are brand new either, surely the premier league would have looked into these before anything else

It's not so easy to do, when the motives from the Saudis are questionable, i.e. Sportswashing etc Definitely not but at the end of the day it isn’t for us to decide who owns our club and I don’t know enough about the other issues around him to get involved.

Just rather keep this about sport and not get involved in the conversation surrounding this type of stuff

Personally just looking forward to supporting a club which wants to compete again, it's as simple as that. The one thing keeps me thinking it will still happen is the non refundable deposit they have paid, which surely means they have already rigorously gone through the checks themselves to make sure there is zero chance of them failing it.
