Deposit is paid. The prospective buyers wont pay the rest until the PL give the all clear. Normal business. Assuming 300m isn't a simple e-transfer which is why it takes a couple of days. Plus likely other procedural stuff with the hand over and confirmation. So technically if it gets approved Monday it would still be the back end of the week before we heard an official announcement

Just have to wait and see who the article is from and what it says about the current deal in relation to the new bid. What time are they usually released on a Saturday night ?

Caulkins inside track is from Staveley. I'm not sure she can offer much reassurance at this stage as she cannot dictate the timeframes the PL are working to therefore, other than say the deal is where they'd expect it to be, I can't see what information he can get to offer us as reassurance.
