Wonder what Sissoko was doing in Howdon?
-
Pretty sure I saw Sissoko jogging down my street this morning. Seems a bit random as I didn't think he lived near me. Pretty sure it was him though.

I paid on monday. Put my NO name in the reference and notes.

Joined and paid.

I know I shouldn't compare us to Barcelona but its depressing watching clips of the Puyol leaving ceremony and all the staff/ board members talking about Puyol being a custodian and upholding the club values throughout his career.
What are the values at Newcastle now...money?
75% off all Lonsdale trainers and Sondico sports socks are pretty good values like.

Pardew would probably start Ibrahimovic on the bench and bring Shola on before him.

They had a minor problem with not being fluent enough before Man City, since then it's a crisis. Overreaction to one result in a classic way.
Same thing happened with Arsenal after their opening day defeat to Villa. I remember watching the reaction on Monday Night Football and you'd think they were going to get relegated the way some pundits were going on.

How long left before the transfer window locks?
You mean "slams shut".
It no longer slams shut as the PVC warped when Sunderland set it on fire last season.

Sameobi talking to Tavernier in the middle of the road. Nearly ran him over! Think he's just moved into a house near me.

What the f*** did they take that with, the Game Boy camera peripheral?

So for the second year on the trot we are about to suffer the indignity of losing the leagues best centre forward in a chain created by the same 2 odious clubs Chelsea & Liverpool. Their spoilt fans see unwavering investment on the field all the time year in year out.
Even Wigan & Reading have been quickly strengthening ahead of us since the window opened.
Wouldn't call Ba the best centre forward in the league like.

If they can't add to their premier league squad, I hope they give him the job of handing Rory Delap a towel to dry the ball for throw-ins.

More people went to watch Hearts on their victory parade in Edinburgh than Chelsea in London.
Heard on the radio that there were 80,000 there to see Chelsea. Not even double their stadium's capacity.
More than a million showed up when Liverpool won it for the fifth time in 2005.
How many had tickets?

Just seen Dogleash on SSN, when asked about who's winning this years title he just replied with the usual 'I put Liverpool first' clichés.
Boring b******.
Thing is he's not put them first, he's put them 8th.

Wonder if the match will be in 3D if you wear the glasses?

Chelsea getting some crazy luck at the minute. Hopefully it'll run out by the time we play them.

Loved Martinez's no malo face at the end.
Think it was more of a 'hm, okay then' as I think Wenger ran off.
Is there a meme for that?

It's a fair point, but almost anyone can hit a 25 or 30-yard blast in the top corner too, does that make those goals less special?
Yeah exactly. I'm not saying they're not good goals or anything but goals like Coates, Tiotes against Arsenal, Cisse against Villa etc are nothing compared to those which players like Messi score. I'm probably just being miserable mind.

Absolutely s*** goalkeeping for it mind. Paddy Kenny ducks!
Not a massive fan of those types of goals anyway. Same goes for Rooney's against Man City last season. There's quite a bit of luck involved. If you gave Rooney or Coates 100 of them to hit in a row 95 of them would probably be scuffed or skied over the bar. Goals like Ben Arfa's against Blackburn or delicate lobs are far better imo.
You can hypothesise with '95 in 100'-type stats, but Coates done it 1 in 1 and it was a f***ing tremendous finish. Going by what you've said, there's an element of luck in every single goal. The technique on that occasion was still absolutely perfect, even if he attempted it again a million times and missed.
Won't disagree that Ben Arfa's was better, though.
My argument is that most people who play football at any level (sunday league whatever) could score a goal similar to Coates given enough opportunities. Eventually one will just connect right. However, most people could score a goal which involves dribbling the ball round half the opposing team.

Fancy a 2-1 win - Obertan first scorer. Gonna see what crazy odds I'll get on that.

A goal for all of the forum.

The fact that the sarcastic tweet is still live all these hours later shows how much senior staff really care about running/keeping an eye on the club. Fair play on the Twitter admin for posting it though.
