Ah yes, that standard way of attempting to win the ball by dropping to your knees, being nowhere near the ball, and clipping the opponent.

You're either on the wind up or daft beyond belief like.

You sound like you've never played football before. Maybe you're on the wind up or daft beyond belief.

I've no idea, but he's nowehere near the ball is he? Let me know where in this challenge he's trying to kick the ball

If you can't see his intention is to play the ball there, before the touch from Paqueta takes it away and he pulls out, I don't know what to tell you man.

Gabriel goes flying into the challenge with no intention of playing the ball. it's his own fault

'Goes flying into the challenge with no intention of playing the ball'

So what do you think he was going into the challenge to do then?

If that was Gabriel on one of our players you'd be crying out for a penalty

(that's if you haven't rage quit like you did in our game against West Ham)

Gabriel pulls out of the challenge and his knee slightly grazes him with no force whatsoever, and Paqueta goes flying

These stupid actions are not penalties man. It's so soft and cheap.

Are you trying to suggest that 1 it wasn't a pen and 2 as an awarded pen, it was clear and obvious that the ref got it wrong?

You're off your rocker yee

No pen, and should have been reversed for that pathetic dive.

Especially as he was signed as a CB.

He's very talented. Pretty sure I saw him fill in there as well as at DM at Brighton at times too. Got that all around ability like John Stones does.

I actually think Arsenal missed a trick not using him at DM when Partey was out injured at times. When they were short and used Sambi Lokonga (who was awful) instead last season.

I genuinely think the managers themselves also think like this, and totally buy into this victim mindset, and so instead of looking at learning and improving on themselves, they just tell themselves they are being looked over because owners 'just like a foreign name'. My God man ... seriously.

    Lampard man.....fuckin hell.

    He's just a pretty Bruce.

Seriously, what is up with so many English managers man?

I don't think they take the tactical side of the game seriously enough at all. To quote Tim Sherwood, 'these foreign managers have just brainwashed everyone'.

They don't seem to realise how much of a science that whole side of the game has become. And the amount of studying of different systems and the thinking behind them, is needed to even step into a managerial role nowadays. I remember when Bruce would continuously just put losses to teams like Man City down to 'them having better players'.

both Lampard and Gerrard have completely disgraced themselves this season man, And these are two young managers that came up playing under some top managers and yet they seem to be completely clueless, and instead are cut from the same 'grafting' and 'getting stuck in' mindset of oafs like Bruce and the likes.

I can't believe it man. What exactly are they teaching in those UEFA license classes anyway?

  9. I would love to see this guy given a run on the left. All his best moments seem to come from when he ends up in those areas, and he can just be more direct with his dribbling more often, as this is when he looks most dangerous.

Think against more aggressive teams like Villa were today, he can get pushed around a bit in the middle.
