Manager imo. It should be hella easy to manage this lot lol.

I've always felt watching them that it's the quality of individuals that win them games rather than the tactics of the manager.

Yeah, they don't really play as a team. Deschamps is defensive minded first too. Wenger managing this team would make them absolutely terrifying. They should be annihilating teams far more often.

I don’t think Rice and Philips was that bad a selection, they just played bad. They didn’t carry the ball or move it like they’re capable of.

That said, I would’ve changed them second half.

Think Rice made his first tackle in the 92nd minute.

When you have a player like Grealish in the squad you can't be starting those two, especially in a a game where you're favourites. Against a France or Belgium more understandable perhaps. Otherwise I just don't get it.

They came to do a job and they did it. We were rubbish but whatever. Move on.

Scotland really should have won that all being said. Looked more like scoring, which is shocking really.

Southgate has the talent to compete and win this tournament, but he has shown he doesn't have the mentality.

Starting with Philips and Rice holding at home against Scotland and leaving the pair on in that double pivot the whole game was unacceptable.

Can't understand why Southgate feels he needs both Rice and Philips, especially at home against Scotland. Really negative decision.

That midfield three you have there would work so nicely. Just don't get it at all.

  5. Looks like we offered him a 3 year deal as opposed to the one year extension from Liverpool so I would imagine that was the motivation for him.

Not a single one of these kids we get from other clubs ever work out. This club is impossibly bad at bringing through young players. Can't even do it by accident occasionally.

  6. Definitely seems like the director of football Spurs hired prefers Gattusso and has now thrown Fonseca under the bus.

Spurs are a complete calamity. What a bloody mess. Neither of the two are even seemingly that impressive. No idea how these two are at the forefront. Incredible really.

  7. This would be so unfortunate. Would hate to see him go somewhere he isn't even going to be appreciated. Horrid stuff.

I'm guessing he must have blown the owner away with his ideas for the club as he's always very diligent about such things, and the owner has the willingness and money to make Rafa's plans all a reality.

Oh well ... will be just great seeing Everton become everything we should have. Just bloody fantastic.

Reading that both teams wanted to finish the game today.

Ah, interesting. That's fair enough then. Imagine they're all just relieved and likely want to go out there for the fans who would no doubt like to get it all out of their system now knowing he's okay. Could be a good thing for all concerned in a way. Really just glad he's seemingly doing so well so quickly.

Match resumes at 7:30pm. Seems like insanity.

I imagine a lot of it has to do with how well he has recovered. Bit tough on the players to get back warmed up and into a competitive game though, should have just played tomorrow now.

Danish FA confirms Eriksen is conscious, awake and been brought to hospital to be investigated.

Ah, fantastic news. Great to hear. Hopefully everything checks out and he's perfectly fine.

Amazing how well it all looks like turning out, and again huge kudos to the medics. Should be very encouraging for all the athletes taking part.

  11. Such a great response by the medics and really great to see how well prepared they are for this sort of thing. Hopefully it's a full recovery like it's looking like at the minute.

One of the unfortunate realities of high level sport. Honestly amazed how rarely these sorts of events take place considering the extent to which these athletes push themselves.
