Oh my goodness that would have been filthy

Harry Wilson with a pathetic sore loser move. Should be a yellow, but serves him right. So unnecessary.
-
What a showing from Denmark. Amazing how things are going after losing their talisman first game. Glad for them.

Roberts dropping into some lovely little pockets and linking play so much better than Moore. If he starts the game when everyone still had some energy Wales would have been much better off. All the others look knackered now. That Moore guy was so limited in his movement and touch. Terrible decision.

Loved that, so direct and he had to be with no support.
Just done it again
Stiff armed some poor sod this time too

What a run by Cornelius.

Shocking performance Kieffer Moore.

Bielsa used him in midfield too. Bizarre he's not been tried at all especially when they're playing Championship shite like Morrel and Allen?
Yeah, think he should be starting. Always looks a threat for Leeds when he's on. He's got pace and runs well with the ball and is just a nuisance. Presses very well too.

This geezer up front for Wales just isn't up to it, other than being a bit of a nuisance.
Yeah, they've got that forward from Leeds Tyler Roberts on the bench. Far more mobile and energetic. Should bring him on instead.
-
Great ball from Neco. Bale should have left that.
-
Any reason Dolberg didn't start the earlier games? Been so good.
-
That Kieffer Moore is not strong enough on the ball at all despite his stature. Looks to go down at every opportunity he's pressured. Really costing Wales any kind of build up at the minute.
-
Oh man ... that clearance was so unfortunate.
-
Dolberg is classy. Gone a bit quiet since he left Ajax, but really liked him back then.

I don’t think either Kane or Grealish have been hasty in their moves like.
Both have been linked away for years. Grealish was linked away to a top 6 club from Villa when they were relegated.
They’ve both given a lot to their clubs and it wouldn’t be a surprise at all if they felt they deserved the opportunity to win major honours. We’re not talking about players who have broke into the first team for a season - they’ve been top players for some time.
Both of them are talented enough to be starting every week too. They’ll also have faith in their own abilities and I doubt either of them are signing on expecting to be on the bench.
The context of my posts on the matter were in response to gjohnson's thoughts on Grealish. And so I don't disagree with you.

Not sure if being sarcastic or not.
Loads of really good players went to Chelsea and City when the money started flowing and where almost instantly forgotten or never established themselves as there were simply better players there. Yes they got medals, but no-one will remember them.
Rodwell was massively rated before going to City....then suddenly he's at Sunderland, then nowhere
We're in agreement then. Don't think players should be so hasty to move just to 'win things'. Only move if you know you're going to be one of the main guys. Otherwise have a great career at the club you're at and you never know what might happen. The boys at Leicester that have ended up playing a part in winning that title and also winning the FA Cup this past season will be remembered forever for such great achievements.

I wonder if they move Sterling on? He fell out of the first team towards the end of the season.
I saw a story the other day that he wasn't happy about his playing time last season.
Also was linked with Spurs as part of the Kane deal but he apparently wasn't keen. So yeah, he might be on his way out of there.

This....he'd become a Sidwell/Parker/Drinkwater the second he's put in a team that doesn't have him as the main man.
Goes to City and he might see the last ten minutes of league games every now and then, and becoming a stalwart of the League Cup games.
I'm sure he'll be able to dry his eyes at night with all the medals, trophies, and cash he'd end up with though
I was having a back and forth with a good friend of mine about the whole idea of winning things and I think it is so overrated. In my opinion it only matters to me if I'm a regular fixture in the first team. Otherwise playing football for a living is already a win and anything else is a bonus.
I'm not sure things would be as bad for Grealish at Man City as you have detailed, but if we assume that is the case I can't imagine why anyone with that talent would ever accept that just to say they won things when they hardly contribute. In that scenario I would much rather stay at Villa and try to qualify for the Europa League or Champions League and perhaps win the Carabao or FA Cup being the main man in a team that has ambition and is making an effort to go places. Would be infinitely more fulfilling.

Another of those "what exactly does he do?" type players. No thanks.
Great engine, stamina, work rate, but honestly that's about it.
Can be clumsy in the tackle, not great on the ball and doesn't use the ball well.
The classic player every PFM on earth lusts after and will play every game, when in reality they are pretty useless.
-
Wow ... he's completely messed them about it looks like. So indecisive. Think both he and Spurs would be perfect for each other.
-
Fully expect Spurs to now abandon everyone else and start pursuing him now

a) who and b) astonishingly i don't think £50m buys you the finished article anymore tbph unless you jackpot it and hit a dias but they're like unicorn tears
I didn't necessarily mean they needed a finished article. I was referring more to the physical profile when I said dominant. They need someone big and physical in their back line IMO, who is still decent on the ball and can use it well like they prefer.
Three very shrewd moves I think they could make at centre back are for Issa Diop at West Ham who had a tremendous start there and looked like he was going to get a big move but has since lost his way a bit under Moyes. I also like Tosin Adarabioyo a lot too, as well as the other centre back Fulham had on loan from Lyon Joachim Andersen. Think those three could be had for better value this summer and would really thrive playing in better teams.
-
Nervous for Arsenal with that move. Think they need someone that is more dominant and more of a certainty for that kind of money. I do like Ben White though and think he could grow into a leading role at the back, guess we'll see how quickly it happens.
