Lingaard in midfield with Fred and ousting Pereira was a gutsy and great move. Fair play.
James has looked more dangerous on the left with Martial and Rashford now upfornt and Greenwood on the right.
All those changes have contributed to the goals.

Unreal football!!! Ole Gunner is the man!

Ole masterclass

Fantastic goal! Young guys at the double!
-
Brilliant strike by the young guy. Great goal.

How have Man Utd ended up in a situation where their starting central midfield pairing is Fred and Pereira man ... crazy.
They could have Ballack and Pirlo - it still wouldn't be enough to combat the genius footballing mind of Chris Wilder - the greatest manager on the planet.
Chris Wilder is the man for sure

Pereira for Man Utd is so awful.

From that Daily Mail article. Rafa on the left.

Oh yes, and Big Sam as Director of Football? What a triple act they would be!

Think he’s struggled handling ‘millennials’ too. Players 30 year old and under today, I’m not sure his man management skills are up to handling these.
I think with Mourinho it's about the type of players. Think Spurs have a decent number of physical and athletic players. I think it will be a really good fit for him int hat sense.
I think the issues will arise off the pitch between himself and Levy when he wants to start bringing in players that share the same agent as he does.
-
I mean ... I was looking at the squad earlier and how much do they really need? Think he has a decent squad to work with as it is.
Upgrades on the full backs would probably be the key thing.
-
That's going out the window under Mourinho.
In fact, I hope Winks has had fun up until now because I think he's going to be out of the team.
-
Yeah that's true. There's also a lot to work with in that squad as it is.
He'll love a midfield three of Ndombele (Mikel role), Sissoko (Essien role) and Alli (Lampard role) I imagine.
Son, Kane and I'm guessing Lucas Moura as his front three.
Got a lot of top defenders too that will look a lot better in a slightly more defensive setup.
Could be very good.

Sick to the back teeth with the amount of coverage this is getting, like.
Mourinho is a favourite of theirs (almost PFM level type support!) and they love to see any foreign manager get the boot.

TCD and triggs
Surprised to hear that tbh as I didn't know much about his methods, and I presumed he was pally with the players from his personality. That's interesting.

The Spurs players are in for a rude awakening.
I get the feeling that Pochettino had become a bit of a soft touch with them.
I think initially a lot more will be demanded from them and they will do very well individually and as a team. They've got some fantastic players, and a lot of the physical types Mourinho likes.
The issues will come once Mourinho starts getting into it with Levy over signings and control etc.
-
Mourinho?! How will he fit with their approach to signings?! This is going to be a complete and utter disaster.
Can you imagine what Rafa would do with those defenders, and Dele, Son and Kane up top. Man. Alli and Kane could be Gerrard and Torres part 2.

I was a Mitro fan until I realised how much better off the team was when we played Daryl Murphy in that role. He's not capable of playing for the team, the team has to play for him, which Fulham appear to do.
Think he's decent makign the ball stick and linking with his attacking team mates. However, he needs players close to him. In a setup where the team is really deep, and he is isolated it doesn't look as good.
Everton would have been a good fit as they use the ballw ell and look to get forward. He would have linked very well with Richarlison, Sigurdson, Iwobi and Bernard. He would have also thrived on the delivery from Digne from out wide.
-
They did seem to give up on Tosun very quickly.
They were very strongly linked with Mitro in the summer but then ended up with Kean, so no idea what happened with that. Think Mitro would have done well there.
-
It was such a risky signing being so young and inexperienced. They needed an experienced front man.
He'll come good though, but it was way too early for the move.
They should have gone for someone like Batshuayi IMO. Maybe even Rondon as a short term option.
-
Graham Carr really liked him from what I recall and was pretty much the big push behind getting him having seen him when he was at Northampton, and Carr lived in those parts.
Nice to see him doing so well. Seemed a good kid.
-
Can anyone please explain what he is good at? Don't think he's very good at all.

How bad is Dummet on that goal man?
