Doesn't really hurt my argument tbh, we are not gonna rely on Armstrong and Gayle. Even if the replacement is quality it's still leaving us very short.

The Mitro thing wouldn't surprise me. Really annoying we couldn't use him yesterday due to the suspension. Can understand the trust issues. Messed us up at the start of last season too, when we were stuck without him for a number of games.

Honestly couldn't even see him standing out at league 2 level. Just has no attributes of any note that would see him do so. It's really shocking that he came through at a premier league club.

Distribution is the best I've seen since pav.

We made some terrible transfers over the years but bringing this guy in has to be one of the worst.

I kind of get the frustration tbf. The Colback thing in particular is just so frustrating at this point, but honestly it might have worked out really well today. Imagine if we had scraped a win by a goal.

Best to get it sorted now, although yes ideally he should have been done with Colback by now. However Colback was in the team towards the end of last season, when we went on a decent run, so I presume he is giving him a chance. Hope that ended today.

I know this guy isn't perfect, but I can't accept Colback playing ahead of him.

In Hayden we also seemingly have a physical and mobile DM that can suitably support him now, so it's just not on really.

Think Rafa tried to go a bit more defensive due to it being an away fixture, but when Colback is the option, there is no reason to do so, because he actually sucks defensively ultimately.

Aarons came on quite early for Colback, so that is a good sign that Rafa was disgusted with Colback. Long may that be the case. Seems Colback was stroppy about it too. Honestly the nerve of that guy man. In his mind does he think he is actually playing well?!

Thoughts on Aarons? He had a decent amount of time to make an impact, but it didn't really happen.

Genuinely think managers are playing this guy because they think the fans want to see a Geordie in the team. It really needs to stop.

So difficult to judge the striker when Ayoze struggled playing off the front man, and we had a midfield with Colback in it. Not to mention Anita on one wing.

Rafa has to be ruthless about what transpired. Colback really needs to find another career.

Colback should not be in the first team, and Anita only ever at right back.

As long as those two simple rules are followed we will be excellent all season.
