Brilliant today, as others have said. Wouldn't mind seeing him at LB at all if Santon and Haidara are still out for a while. And if he keeps playing like today then it'll be his position to lose. Krul Debuchy - Yanga Mbiwa - Taylor - Jonas Cabaye - Sissoko Ben Arfa - Marveaux - Gouffran Cisse Doesn't look half bad at all.

Feeling a lot more confident now, especially as that'll give us a massive boost before the derby. Beat the scum and we're safe imo, but lose that and we're right back in there. Massive game that we've got some momentum going into.

We played well, had rotten luck, but his insistence on bringing Shola on, especially for the freshest player out there, could have easily cost us the game. Absolutely killed our dominance, didn't get it back until the AC sub (which I give him credit for, was what was needed to get the energy back).

Cisse's been quality recently. Had some rotten luck today and on Thursday but in the end the quality shone through. Not as good in terms of build-up as against Benfica but still not terrible tbh.

Still think he had a shocker. The Shola sub just killed any momentum at a point when it looked like it was only a matter of time before we fucked lady luck right off and scored anyway. We dominated again at the end after the AC sub, but even then he didn't look like he knew where he was meant to be. His energy gave us a lift though so Pardew deserves some credit for that.
