  1. I remember how bad PSG were 5 years ago. Jerome Rothen was their star player.
  2. If we get releated I can see Spurs going for HBA, Cabaye, Debuchy, Sissoko and Mbiwa. They would all be great under a good manager.
  3. Things are dire with these players at the moment. The club is always bigger than the individuals. As long as we replace the manager with someone very good, i wont mind too much. There are always others out there .. belhanda for example.
  4. I think it would be very mixed too, but I suspect an unbiased appraisal (i.e. not one either of us could come up with) would give us the edge. I also think that it would have Kaboul and Vertonghen at CB tbh, with Colo on the bench - to try to bring this back on topic . I just thought that a post citing "individual qualities" and "globally" better players needed to be challenged. The individual qualities of courage and personal responsibility were not very evident against Liverpool. The team whose fans perfected the art of the dubiously-argued mixed XI. A chef can have the best ingredients, but if hes fucking clueless with how to cook. The end product is going to be disastrous.
  5. Lloris Debuchy Coloccini Vertonghen BEO Lennon Dembele Cabaye Bale HBA Neither team have a great striker
  6. In terms of individual qualities, I don't see a better team than NUFC, bar the 2 Manchester, Chelsea and Arsenal. I even think there are better players - globally - in that team than Spurs or Everton. Pardew is just an old fashionned british manager, who can surely manage very well teams like Stoke or Wimbledon and their type of players. Before I try to answer that, can you just clarify? You're saying your players are better than ours? Obviously not. I think on paper we have some very good players in our squad, we just play like a conference side.
  7. Yep, he will massively improve our organisation if he's on his game. Only worry is whether his personal fitness is lacking. Good thing is fitness for a centreback isnt the be all or end all. Colo isnt blessed with blistering speed anyway.
  8. I would play this: Elliot Mbiwa Saylor Colo Anita Sissoko Cabaye HBA Marveaux Gouffran Cisse I expect this: Elliot Simpson Saylor Coloccini Perch Sissoko Cabaye Tiote Jonas Ameobi Cisse
  9. results are unpredictable, we can't assume anything. Let's focus our energy on getting points from our own games and see where we sit going into the arsenal game.

I think that's probably a bit dramatic. We'd see transfers, but not the whole damn squad. who do you think would stay

oouuuu! we got enough british spirit there to make us champions! Maybe Gosling in instead of Inman and we still got Campbell.

Say we got relegated our team next season could be this .. Elliot Tarvenier Saylor Good Haidara Bigirimana Jonas Sammy Inman Ferguson Ameobi Wed see Sissoko, Gouffran, Debuchy, Mbiwa, Coloccini, Santon, Simpson, Cabaye, Tiote, Anita, Cisse, Marveaux, HBA all leave. Obviously wed need to make 2 or three signings .. but it looks disastrous.
  13. You really dont like Haidara. I think hes handy going forward, but defensively hes not with it. Perch left back for the last few games then ..

I think he'll see out the season and be gone.
  15. So a 4-4-2 ... Elliot Simpson. Saylor. Coloccini. Mbiwa Marveaux. Sissoko. Cabaye. HBA Cisse. Gouffran
  16. To replace Pardew (Mole) and to replace Llambias (Dave). Coaches are to be selected my Mole.

I think unless we win 2 out of our last 3 and performances dont improve massively hes gone. Ashley will be spewing that the 20 mill pounds spent hasnt turned our fortunes around. You can kind of see Ashleys point of view with regards to not sacking him. There is no one you could put into the role long-term with three games left. Its something that can be fixed at seasons end. However if i was Ashley i would have sacked the cunt in december.
  18. What positions do you feel need strengthened for you next season .. a centre mid and a winger Yeah we've needed someone in centre midfield for a while now. I'm a big fan of Cleverley and think he works very well with Carrick, who is obviously top class. I think Anderson will be given one more season to step up the plate though and can't see us buying anyone big for that position. We have plenty of wingers but they were all horribly inconsistent this season. I'd like to see the back of Young and don't forget we've signed Zaha so I think we're OK in that position as well. We need to play Kagawa more next season so I'm interested to see how Fergie is going to work around that. I'm hoping that the answer isn't dropping Rooney into midfield but I can't see any other way to set a team to have both of them playing. I'm not a manager though. I honestly can't see much change in our team at all next season. You think someone like Cabaye might be the midfielder you need or Modric.

Sounds like he will be in the summer regardless, just not now

  21. Its hard to predict in what direction they would go with a manager considering there been no change in over 20 odd years.

People cant use the excuse that it will have a negative influence on the team and we need to show support during a relegation battle. Truth of the matter is the team cant play any worse than they already are, protest before kick off, at half time and after kick off. Get rid of this clown.
  23. I think well end up on 41. A draw against West Ham and a win against QPR. Which will be enough for our survival.

Something needs to be done. The club is going nowhere under Pardew.
