  1. I still think there's no way he has been sacked or asked to leave. If that was the case we would know by now, and it doesn't make any kind of sense. The only way he will be leaving is if he has walked of his own accord, and if he's threatening that let's hope the delay is because talks are ongoing.
  2. I agree, but isn't that what happened? I mean, Barton is still here.
  3. If this has come to a head over the sale or retention of average players like Milner, Barton and Smith then both sides need to take a serious look at themselves. There's a bigger picture FFS.
  4. I'm just disappointed with KK as a manager if he has walked out. If he was too short sighted to see we were moving in the right direction he isn't the man I thought he was. The first KK era was amazing, but again we were shocked by a sudden walk-out. Keegan has done a lot for this club, but he has also let us down before, to a certain extent.
  5. If Keegan has walked over transfer disagreements then I'm inclined to blame him for this mess to be honest. The players that the recruitment team have brought in have been good ones, and Keegan has used his enthusiasm and motivational skills to get them playing well. I would have thought he would have been happy with that situation.
  6. It is looking like it's true, but even Sky who seemed to take the lead on this only have 'Sky understands that Keegan may be leaving his position'. So until it's confirmed I'm just hoping...
  7. That's a persuasive argument, I'm just holding onto any hope because it would be so horrible.
  8. I agree with those first two points, that's why I can see no circumstances in which he would be sacked if he wanted to stay. I think the third point is harsh on Ashley though, yes if it's confirmed either way he should announce it, but if it is still being decided he is right to keep quiet for now. I'm just holding onto the hope he might stay.
  9. It even says 'BBC Radio 5 Live understands', distancing them from the story even more. The reports are mounting up, but still not a single confirmed source, quote or announcement.
  10. picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue... I picked the right day to start doing coke.
  11. Exactly. I was all for the media blackout when it came to transfers, but keeping the fans guessing on the employment state of a manager we all love like this is just ridiculous. Eh? I agree if Keegan goes, and it turns out to be Ashley's fault and not KK's own hot-headedness, then we will have recent to criticise. But if there's nothing in it then what has Ashley done wrong? If there's nothing to announce he won't make an announcement.
  12. Can we stop suggesting names? He hasn't gone yet for fuck's sake...
  13. Depends on what you mean by poor, and what you consider the club's job is. Every time there's been something official to say, they've said it through the official channels, and not before. Iwouldn't expect them to issue a statment about every bit of speculation. If nothing is decided they're harldy going to announce 'we're just mulling over whether to sack Kevin at the moment, we'll kep you posted'!
  14. I'm actually getting a bit more confident now. The longer this goes on, and the more I think about it, it just seems illogical and unlikely that KK will leave. On the other hand the press speculation is exactly the sort of thing they have previous for. Not saying it couldn't happen, but I'm starting to calm down a bit now.
  15. To sack your manager one day after the transfer window without him doing anything wrong beats anything i've seen earlier. Ironicly it proves that all the Keegan Ashley fallout news were true Which makes us all look like idiots Which gives us the highest honour..we my friend..are a joke, and its not even a funny one. You forgot to say 'if this is true'.
