Those quotes canā€™t be real?! Incredible some of them lot!

    I went for a look because I thought they couldnā€™t beā€¦absolutely 100%.Ā
    Ā

Theyā€™ve deluded themselves into a relationship with Arsenal, two threads on how good their fans were according to AFC vloggers, some shite about AFC and SAFC being proper traditional clubs, respected.Ā
Paying their dues to AFC for paying respect to someone from their club who died whilst simultaneously booing players taking the knee šŸ™„

  2. Jesus Christ, talk about bigging your self up!Ā

ā€œGood on Mikel Arteta .. He didn`t have to, but genuine acknowledgement of our footballing mission within EFL One hoofball division. You could see our players visibly enjoying being able to use real skill for a change. That, without being wiped out by a bruiser even if we slipped up later in the game.ā€

    Ā

Being in L1 is part of their footballing mission šŸ˜‚. I didnā€™t realise they were there through choice, I always assumed itā€™s because they are utter turbo shit and have been for years!Ā

Would certainly take BBD - I saw him linked with someone who isnā€™t us and thought we should be in there

Funnily enough I watched this earlier and found it quite interesting.Ā

  6. Itā€™s a brilliant thing like, brings so much unity to the fans IMO, I was having a look through the website last night. The financial target would be nothing for the club to fund.Ā
I think it would help to break down the target into chunks, if we raise this weā€™re buying that kinda thing.Ā
But seriously, itā€™s a fantastic thing, hats off to all involved. šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

yes but we still lost 0-3.

would have been more bearable if we'd at least tried to have a go. might have lost 4 or 5 but it would still have been no worse than what happened today.

Iā€™m not defending it by the way, just saying how I seen it.Ā
Its about perspective IMO, Iā€™d prefer it the way it was rather than watching us getting smashed 7 nil like Norwich, if weā€™d have opened up, theyā€™d have ripped us to bits at a canter.Ā
I donā€™t like it, but come the end of the season the GD may be needed.Ā

no but i would rather have had a go at 0-1 down and then lost 0-3 rather than just contiuing to sit back and play a back 5 and a disabled LWB who cant run defend or cross any more.

    Ā

the stupid farce over the subs - fuck me.

    Ā

jones man, go back to coaching strikers.

There was only ever one plan, even at 1-0 down there was no urgency to play or win the ball, tactically restricted and the current crop of players donā€™t have the ability to do anything different (with the exception of 2/3).Ā
    Ā

Personally I think the loss was inevitable, trying to contain Chelsea/minimise the damage was the plan.Ā

  9. Difficult to watch however I personally feel the team worked hard in the first half to contain Chelsea. They looked more organised and more disciplined but without a plan to challenge rather defend.Ā
Iā€™m not sure thereā€™s a manager in the world who could have changed the result, thereā€™s a very long road ahead but my overwhelming feeling is that there needs to be a clean slate from top to bottom, all new coaching and management team and a whole new spine of players as a minimum.Ā

We are so far behind it is unreal, how can a shitty little club in London afford that especially with what are probably sky high land prices down then and we have a few outdoor pitches and paddling pools, it just shows how much work the new owners have to do and how much Ashley has put this club back.

I canā€™t remember the exact quote but essentially they say that you can sell one player for Ā£20m so it makes financial sense to invest in whatā€™s known to be a talented area but also very competitive.Ā Ā

Good old Weslers used to love them personally. Don't think they do them anymore apart from the shit ones with the revolting gravy.

There was a place in the Grainger Market did them but the owner died and I donā€™t think itā€™s opened again since.Ā

I keep hearing this nonsense about giving Bruce his 1000th game. Has he got 999 for Newcastle? 999 Premier League games? What are people talking about? He isn't retiring and he'll get it at his next club ffs.Ā

I donā€™t think heā€™ll manage again tbh, by that I mean I donā€™t think a club will want him not just because of his record but because the whole of his time at NUFC has tarnished what reputation he had.Ā
It wouldnā€™t surprise me if the delay is because he is sticking to his guns and insisting on the full pay off because he knows itā€™s his last hurrah.Ā

  13. Iā€™m sure itā€™s only a matter of time before he gets pedalled, thereā€™ll be many balls up in the air and contractual agreements to review before the trigger is pulled.Ā
If the sum thatā€™s being quoted (Ā£8m) is accurate than it doesnā€™t surprise me that it hasnā€™t been immediate, Iā€™d be trying to find any reason as to reduce that figure regardless of how much money I had.Ā
